Thats a beautiful dinner set. Enjoy sweety. I finally found a pair of wingback chairs for our lounge room. They are so faded red that they look orange and have one large tear and thin material on the arms especially. I intend to make slip covers from drop sheets like on farmhouse on boones blog. So exciting but it does mean no room for that drop leaf table I was looking out for. Maybe I'll find a really small one . Seed catalogues are so much fun to browse. Oh Abby Jo my heart needed this lovely video after a busy day! I started working from home part time a few months ago and I'm still trying to find my groove with part time work, homeschooling, gardening, homemaking and running this little hobby farm. I just adore your videos and there you go again teasing me with that gorgeous vintage sink and drainboard. Goodness it is fabulous! I love all your antique finds, Johnson Brothers full tea set for $20, my friend I need to make a trip your way to go junking! I too am looking forward to spring, the greenhouse is bursting with tiny seedlings and the bulbs have started to bloom all over the property along with my hellebores. Spring is in the air! That beautiful embroidered tablecloth would be a treasured find for sure! Those dishes are perfect! I am trying not to have "dish envy" right now haha! Lovely teatime. If we were neighbors...we would have such lovely times together! I have lived country all my life...flipped houses with my hubby. I had 13 flowerbeds and a quarter acre vegetable garden, plus herbs in pots and six planted blueberry bushes, strawberry patch...and holly and everygreens for Christmas. I collect teapots, teacups, dishes, quilts, lacy curtains, tablecloths...and fill my home with cozy, thrifted antique or just older, suit-my-fancy painted or "lovingly worn" vintage furniture. It may get left as is, or painted, fixed and polished, or just re-invented with new use in mind...but, it will all be loved by me and mine! We could have many great "hunting treasures" times, if we were only neighbors! We could share tears, smiles and laughter while traveling thru every day of Life's trials and adventures! Guess we will do some of that, thru your vlogs...always look forward to your youtubes!

Heartwarming and peaceful videos! I think there are a lot of people craving slow living. Nowadays it feels you need to retire before you may enjoy slow living. They are beginning to bloom and must be 7’ tall. Be sure to lead test the Johnson Brothers dinnerware. I have a large collection passed to me from my mom. They were her special occasion dinnerware and I love the pattern. I use them for display only. Unfortunately any antique ware has lead in the paint and that pattern has a lot of paint. Check with “Lead Safe Mama” , she has more info.

Honestly, that's a hard one! I used to not like summer that much, but as the years go on I think summer and fall are my favorites, but there is something so amazing about the depths of winter and all the coziness that it brings :) Ive been taking a break and now catching up on comments, thank you for asking such a fun question!

I very much enjoy thrift/antique haul videos. Everything you purchased is beautiful, but that tablecloth is very special. You can't find anything like that in a regular store. Love was put into that when it was made.
My mom had Johnson Bros. pieces. As I was the youngest of seven perhaps that is why it was not a complete set - or perhaps she had inherited them. Abby Jo, do you make your own candles? The light from them is so inviting & warm. Thank you for another peek into your beautiful world. Blessings 🕊
No, I don’t make my own. I buy them from a farmer who makes them and sometimes online. I would love to make them in the future ❤️ candles are so warm and happy to me, and love the beeswax ones.
Another cozy video! I so enjoy them. That's a darling tea set. I was just looking through Johnny's seed catalog yesterday. I also have plenty of seeds left over from last year, but I want a few other things, including some flowers. I laughed when you said you want to buy them all. I'm the same way!
