We just returned from a week in the Cotswolds, including Chipping Camden! For me, living in a place like this is a dream. This was a special vacation to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary. We were originally going to just spend two days in the Cotswolds and the rest in London, but we finally decided that we wanted a peaceful, relaxing and beautiful week in the English countryside instead of the fast paced energy of the city. You are so lucky to live in a country with such beauty and history! And the people were all lovely!❤🇬🇧

The cottage is lovely. Even better is its exterior. The landscaping is gorgeous! The singing birds are a musical delight. The stroll through town was a visual feast for the eyes. So many gorgeous buildings. ❤

The Cotswolds are a very expensive place to live especially Chipping Camden. I think you’d be amazed how much that tiny cottage is worth. Many celebrities and politicians live there. The baskets at the front of the house are flower baskets waiting to be filled. Thank you for the tour.

Its like living in a fairy tale. That little kitchen is adorable. And the little door in the sitting dining area to the outdoors is a little magic! Love all the stone work and exposed beams. .. and the coffee table is the most unique piece I have ever seen used that way. The little tiny fireplace in the master is incredible. I want to decorate it for every season. The entire cottage is lovely and so cozy. How sweet was that charcuterie in the garden with your beautiful family. My goodness... this town and the old buildings, the topiary and ironwork are all so charming. Being across the pond, in very young America, I can only dream of ever living among this kind of history. Your filming and music choice were just perfect. I will become a new subscriber today.

If I lived there I think I would put in more color, bringing the outside floral colors inside. Perhaps replace the neutral carpets and tiles. Otherwise, enchanting! Thank you. Looking forward to #2.

Heidi is adorable🌸🐝

This truly is such a sweet cottage and the setting is just 'out of a dream!' The flowers all around it was perfect! To me this is what life is about the rebirth of Spring and the flower and all of nature! All captured in this area! Your daughter Heidi, was so cute with her 'little bee'. She was doing fine with it, as at first I thought she might be stung, but it was just learning its way around life I guess, and really did love your daughter's palm and the little flower "The mommy of Bees" lol Your husband Peter truly was enjoying every minute as well. You fit right in really, within this little cottage. Such a nice vacation home! The kitchen may have been small, but it had what you really needed, it seems, and to have even a small fireplace, made it so extra special. Warmed floors in the Living room, they did not leave much out really, and that alone is worth this visit, making it very warm and homey!! Everything was really in its place. The color scheme was perfect, you are right, and 'texture' was done so appropriately, (Easier to keep clean too in these neutral colors) Loved the look of fireplaces in so many of the rooms and the bathroom too certainly was well done and it keeps its proper look for its age and yet modernized enough all the way through, for comfort. Love the way the homes are built in the Cotswold's. I know it is more expensive I believe in this area, but it is worth it when you have nice neighbors and they take good care of their property as well. Wonderful that it is walking distance as well, to the village! Thank you for taking us along on your trip! By the end I certainly did feel like a family member! 🤩 You have this way about you that makes one feel welcomed.

Finally I found a real english garden, yt kept showing me the US version. This is lovely ❤

It is the most beautiful cottage, and I love the interior, and how it has been so simply furnished to let as a holiday cottage. It is spotless, and so fresh looking, and calm. The garden is sooo beautiful too, what a wonderful place to stay, such a treat. xxx

The cottage is beautiful. And I am also very taken with Chipping Camden - love its beauty and history.

This makes me nostalgic for Chipping Campden, where I grew up. Now most of the lovely small cottages are air Bnb and the bigger ones are second homes to famous luvvies from London. Even an ex council semi will set you back 700,000. However, it still has a local community thanks to neighbouring farming people. It really is 100% better than Broadway.

The iron troughs on the wall are just empty wall baskets for flowers which, I presume with all the bad weather, they may have not got around to filling up with moss and plants yet. Your cottage is out of this world beautiful. You're so lucky! x

Your daughter seems to be developing your artistic eye. And I was amazed she got that bumblebee to drink while sitting on her hand! The cottage and surrounding town are so beautiful!! Take away the cars, TV antennas, and random signs, and you could believe you were back in the 1800s. The gardens brimming with spring flowers are an extra treat. I personally would have liked to see a bit more storage in the actual bedrooms, though I'm a bit too old for a spiral staircase anyway. I like a bit more color, but as which colors is so subjective, neutral does make the most sense, and is easier to launder. I lovely interlude, thank you. :)

The Cotswolds is so faacinaring and stunningly beautiful. Ive watched many channels that feature the Cotswolds area and each of you showcase a different view and perspective. And that is so amazing for us viewers. Ive always been curious to see the inside of atleast one Cotswolds cottage! Thank you foe that little peek. Indeed a wondeeful cotrage. They've done wonders witb the space. The garden in my opinion is the best part of the cottage. Dining al fresco in that glorious sunshine ...heavenly!
