I am imagining the view from one of these seats during a full-service meal sitting and listening to the clink of metal on crockery together with a mix of subdued polite conversations over ambience music. The carriage would be gently swaying as snow abruptly swirls and taps on the frozen window outside. Inside, everyone is safe, warm and happy.
As a teenager, I lived in northern Montana and we would travel by Amtrak to Washington to visit my sisters for Christmas. This train recording is what it sounded like as we traversed that wild part of America, especially through Glacier National Park!

I love the sound of trains, this is lovely. Perhaps a production that is 10 hours - would be perfect for those who have trouble sleeping as in falling asleep and staying asleep. Your other train pieces have been very helpful to me. Thank you!
Thank you for the video! If I am ever on a train, it's only a commuter train and it looks like garbage. I would love to travel on a real classy train ride that was beautifully and artistically adorned as this. I think we've lost a real sense of beauty and style in our day. It's such a shame.
Really lovely. The decor is first rate! Absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. It's wonderful. But if i may make a suggestion; I kinda wish it didn't move so much up and down. Trains don't do that, they shimmy side to side. I take trains every day for 2 hours here in Japan - all kinds from single car trollies to Shinkansens. Trust me. And I've been on the Eastern Orient Express from Bangkok to Singapore more than once. If you are on a train and it moves up and down like that, something is very, very wrong. It's derailing! Hold on to something! Cheers from Tokyo. Merry Christmas!

Actually I love train travels. But i would like some options. For example snowy , old train cabin , bed and dim light. windows must be closed. Is there such a video? :))))
Beautiful carriage and warmly atmospheric. If only the snow wasn’t gently falling down as the train is supposedly speeding along. It seems a tad motionless.
I love the whole series. Some time ago there was an "8 hours of" channel that disappeared. He did a nice job...one of the originals. One thing he did was themed videos as well as 8 hours of different perspectives or views of one thing. This reminds me of that. You're very talented. Nice job.
A train ride during a cold snowy day and it has very comfortable seating and they serve hot tea and coffee also donuts and croissants and play light music to keep you entertained and if you are sleepy the have blankets to cover you for more warmth so you can get some sleep and the whole car as well the others are kept very warm and you will have the best journey ever.
Is no one going to talk about the snow?!?!?! The snow is for a stationary window. This train is supposed to be moving. Not only that the wind is howling. This could be so good too, but that darn snow just doesn't go with what we are hearing. It takes me right out of it? I mean it's so so obvious. Can anyone not see that? What is going on here???
Don't worry, this comment was made to the channel by several people a while back. And just today, they announced they were working on a new train vid, so hopefully they will remember and take those comments into consideration😉👍
If you could somehow get that snow to look like it's blowing more sideways, as opposed to coming down vertically while the train races forward, this would be even nicer.
