On May 22nd of 2024, Canadian Pacific H-1B Hudson #2816 (a.k.a. The Empress) spearheaded the Final Spike Steam Tour between Heavener, Oklahoma and Shreveport, Louisiana. The train was taking part in a historic transcontinental tour from Calgary, Canada to Mexico City via the United States. Riding behind ‘The Empress’ were CP’s F units (#1401 and #4107), along with the royal business train consist. For this video, we followed the train between Heavener, OK and Blanchard, LA with scenes from the following locations:

As a special bonus, we caught a CPKC manifest at Hatton with a CP SD70ACU (#7043), a WAMX GP40-2LW (#4021) along with seven Wisconsin Central boxcars in the consist.
