I remember ~2011 when this came out, and even in 2012, planning with some friends to take a trip out to CA just to play here for a weekend. How I wish finances and schedules would have allowed it. Meeting Arwin, playing in CQB City, recording and making a few videos to remember it with... It would have been the pinnacle of my time in this sport. Now I sit here, sipping away at my drink watching this and looking back a decade to a far better time through the lens of nostalgia.

@@MilsimJunkie1 Indeed, nearly 11 years now actually. That quote from Andy goes hand-in-hand with one I saw someone else post, "2010-2013 was like one big party we didn't know we were having until it was over." - Things were so awesome all the time that there really was no time for 'valleys' between the 'peaks' of entertainment. I hope all is well on your end as well - And yes our group is still together, though with new hobbies. We've traded BB's for D&D books as of recently but this year we may be making an attempt to re-enter back into the sport. We'll see how it goes. If all goes well, perhaps one day we'll actually make that old fantasy a reality and make the trip out to CQB City for a weekend.

Back in like 3 grade i found these videos and fell in love with them not yet airsoft but they did convince me to try and buy a revolver with my cousin. The idea was shot down by parents of course but almost a decade later here i am with a full jw3 loadout of a EMG tti combat master 2011 and a sig mpx with a custom tti mpx kit that cost my ass 2.5 paychecks. How the times have changed. Occasionally i revisit these videos on quiet nights to relive some of these moments.

And that bit where the words came up "make it to the bus" reminded me of the last recorded Zombie game where you were like "Make it to the bus, make it to the bus!" Are absolute classic... Funny guy. Pretty interesting scenario... little suggestions for future play, recently I attended a scenario and the zombies had to where a kill plate (pie tin on their chest) that had to be hit to count as a kill making it a little tougher for the humans

The Kriss Vector wasn't even out when this video was made (at least none competition quality), that sir if you would listen to the video he tells you it's the Roni Carbine kit for Glock style gas airsoft pistols.

There should be objectives like: on route to the safe house there is a turret emplacement ,deployable barricade, "MREs",small ammo boxes containing mags and etc. But there is 0-20 screws with random length (ex. long, short,long short,short....) and a random combination of + and - screws (ex. - -+ - ++ .....) that prevent the objectives from being claimed until all screws are removed. So players would have to defend the location while a player works on deploying the barricade or setting up the turrets at the safe zone. This would make intense hot zones and areas of interests for both "human" and "zombie"

@chargers705 True. It starts off as 28 versus a few zombies. At the end of this game only 2 survived and the rest turned into zombies. Its one of those gametypes you've got to try out at least once =)

@thiefguy852 Yes. I see people travel from San Jose, SF, Sunnyvale and all over the bay area and surrounding to come to play at CQB City. However, if this your first time playing check out local fields first if there are any near you. Support you local field =) If there isnt any you are always welcomed at CQB City

@NonstopWolf14 Its the theme for 28 weeks later, I believe its also the theme for 28 days later, and that where 28 weeks later got it. Either way, the song is simply the 28 days/weeks later theme.

okay i have an idea for airsoft, i just wanted to see if ppl agree with this idea too. imagine this a vest that is sensitive to the fps hit. Like depending on how hard the bb hits you or your opponents. The vest can vibrate so that you can sense you are close to dieing and go off with a beeping noise that alerts you that you're dead or if when the vest is vibrating and you didn't get hit again by a bb or 2 ( again depending on how hard it hits you) the vibration stops and you're back to life.

It depends. If you want FPS, get a torque motor upgrade. If you want ROF, get a speed. Also springs, gears, etc. should be upgraded if you replace the motor though.

Man i just love airsoft zombie matches! When ever i have battles or some people call them wars i love using my ICS m4 to mow em down! But the zombie thing everytime i have a battle we end the night with zombie matches we make sure everyone gets a turn of survivor and zombie. When i was a zombie once me and my other zombies were watching two guys walk around this corner and they tried to shoot at us and ran out of ammo so we tackled them down (Hardcore Style) and we won! Just wanted to say it.

It depends on where you live. Usually there is a 15-30 $ entrance fee and that is it unless you need a rental.

If you want to see a sweet zombie cqb battle, or just cqb in general, search "The mall airsoft, Reading", place I live from 10 mins from in Reading, UK. Some airsoft chain bought a freaking shopping mall all for skirmishing, so good!! Seriously recommend for serious teams wanting to tour. Nice video man

Where do most of these people get their mesh masks (like at 4:48)? I know of ebairsoft and redwolfairsoft but is there an american dealer that sells them (besides evike because I don't purchase there for many reasons)?
