Otherwise I could see guy on shield approaching threshold, starts taking gunfire and an automatic reaction is to flinch or jump back away from a door. And guy on gun reaction is to return fire. There’s a possibility guy with shield gets hit with friendly fire right in the back.

That low carry you demonstrated at the end for sure covers up the pelvis and upper thighs which seems critical.
