@@texomarc I didn’t even know about upw’s til I was this many years old. Been messing with Treal and Amazon wheels on the FCX’s. Yep, my plan is try Hobby Plus stuff first. Tires seem a little slippery though, and might have to go. I’ve been impressed with LGRP tires so far.
@@QuinnsRC The tires aren’t “comp spec” but I really want to see how they do with weight. Pro’ly just gonna slip worse but I’ll give them a chance and show what happens. Not many tire options right now in this wheel size, so if they don’t work, kinda makes the wheel weights a waste. Just get some good wheels and brass, like Treal or mofo or injora.
@@texomarc I have their brass wheel weight/hexes on the way. When I asked during the livestream if they'd work with 1.0 wheels Calvin said yes. Not sure that the question was relayed accurately, but hopefully they will be! (I'm a bit skeptical, seeing as how large their diameter seems to be, but we'll see).

@@exlewisrc3674 I was just thinking for comparison reasons, playing back the first run and then showing what it does with the mods plus the upgrades, kinda like I did in the mods video but actually show the first run. That’s it. That’s what I’m going to do. I’ll run this course with mods and upgrades for that video and then we’ll battle on a completely new course. Thanks for your help! Lol. The CR-18P seems to have a wheelbase of 160mm with the Trx4M at 155mm. Do you think the Traxxas Bronco or Defender body would scale well on the CR-18P?
