I am a new viewer and also new to the hobby. I enjoy the long form chat over trail video and commentary. I learn some driving tech and about the cars and mods. I also have this on while I’m wrenching at work actually, funny you mentioned that. Anyway, thanks for the video, I enjoyed it!
That’s it, bro. It’s not that I can’t make an scx24 perform, it’s how much cheaper and easier it is with the Traxxas. Sure, you may end up spending plenty of money, but it doesn’t take much to get it up the hill. Since this, I added an ounce of tungsten on the front upper links and it’s a dream! So nice to slow crawl and it’s freaking scale! Thanks for hangin bro! Hope you have a great one.
Heck yeah we appreciate you putting this video out, and yes I love going back watching my videos you really get to see what it was doing how the suspension is working
I just built a mini course just like this for my stock bronco! 😂 i snipped off my mud slinger flaps and took off the rear tire, honestly I get a little more out of the truck this way!
Wrap 1/4” lead wire around the stock rims then put the stock tires back on, mine weighed 60g each. Maybe tomorrow’s weather will let me go outside. I have high clearance links on mine. Hard to tell if they help running on my inside course. Did you see the 55mm Injora pins? Got a set on the way I’m thinking about putting them on my TRX4m Bronco.
They’re all trx-4m’s. Kraig’s just running a bigger tire with a much wider stance and a smaller/lighter body. Thanks for hanging. Hope you have a great one!
i own the trx4m red defender and its not a crawler. no way by any stretch. its a trail truck and thats where it does the best. driving over tree roots and little scale trails. i dig some holes in the ground with my shovel and i drive for hours.
Even with the defender body, I had a great time crawling this thing. I’m getting another that will stay with the Traxxas bodies. I’ve accepted your challenge and will do my best to demonstrate how well you can crawl with stock body. Prol’y going to be 800 grams but… lol. Should be a good time. Thanks for hanging. Hope you have a great day.
I got a couple names for my star wars themed crawlers. Darth Crawl, C.Creepy.O and R.2.Detour. I have an all injora build coming and I'm thinking Injora the Explorer lol. Why not right🤔
Next one has to Obiwan Crawlnobi! Lol. Love the names. I thought of injora the explorer when I was thinking of Maximus. Too funny. Either way, gotta share it with me. Thanks for hangin bro! Hope you have a great one!
I’m building a g speed class 2 comp rig! Loving it way more money than I thought! But hey can’t take it with ya hahaha! Idk been eyeing up trx4 m or FMS I have couple scx24;; I need get upgraded prob why don’t play with them much! I play with my 1/10 always wrenching ! 😊
G speeds are rad really like mine. I would definitely suggest picking up a TRX or even the FMS. Both are great vehicles out of the box and awesome with some mods.
I drove kraig’s g speed and it was pretty sweet. 1/10 is definitely a lot more money than 1/24, which is why I drive and show off the rigs I do. I hope to show people that these things can do awesome stuff and you can have just as much fun, if not more, for 1/4-1/3 the money. Hope you have a great week, homie!
That poor defender needs some weight down low in a bad way love I have got mine in beast mode and still looks pretty scale love the names but Trixie is cool name my uncle use to call my aunt that I built some side skirts to mount battery and esc on the sides and towards the front got flex blades and no springs and rubber bands on rear springs and rubber bands on front sucked down tight last mofo upws with brass island spacers and six mm brass hubs on swamp kings pro lights and some scale stuff on the roof 🔥🔥😎👍
Repositioned the shocks with mounts that I made and I don’t remember if the sliders were in this video or not. I think so. I made all of them. I’ll be drawing them to be printed ASAP. Thanks for hangin. Hope you have a great one.
