Jacques Pépin's recipe for crabmeat and horseradish salad is a simple and flavorful treat. Jacques suggests this as a first course, but we think you could also enjoy this as a stand-alone lunch. Crab is a great choice for Omega-3 fatty acids, zinc, and protein and horseradish not only supplies a bit of heat, it also contains glucosinolates, which are rumored to help prevent cancer.
What you'll need:
8 oz. crab meat, 3 tbsp mayo, 1 tbsp sour cream, 1-2 tsp horseradish, 1/4 c minced onion, 1 tbsp chives, hot sauce, lettuce

This looks delicious! The dressing is flavorful - creamy and spicy. The crab makes it a perfect luxurious luncheon. I’ve some little Melba toast crisps that would make a good accompaniment - and maybe a glass of wine to round it off. Thanks Chef Jacques! Nice to see you still sharing your wealth of knowledge.

I love Jacques Pepin! I'm just really confused by the channel name and the relationship with Jacques. The branding is completely confusing, as your name sounds like a radio station, but it's mostly Jaq content (which I love). Are you just sharing his videos, or is he affiliated?

Might make this with prawn rather than crab, but I also have to wonder about "contains glucosinolates, which are rumored to help prevent cancer", who started this rumour? I can imagine whispers "did you hear about glucosinolate? supposedly it can prevent cancer, how crazy is that"...
