sounds good. you should download the "better noteblocks" resource pack though. it shows the clicks & the key on the block. your vid & the pack are quite helpful
Yes. If you put the last repeater between note blocks 10 and 1 remove it and replace it just after note block 10. Then a 1 block gap and a solid block in front of the gap. Place a sticky piston against the solid block with a lever on the sticky piston. When you activate the piston it should put the solid block directly in front of the repeater. Put 2 redstone dust in front of note block 1 and 1 dust to the right (gap). Put your pressure plate 3 blocks in front of note block 1. If done correctly, flick the lever to extend the piston then step on the pressure plate, it should loop. Flick the lever off to retract the piston and it will end the loop. I hope I explained well enough and that I was helpful.

Can you do me a little favour in your videos can you take an occasional plan view of the builds (even if its at the end of the video we can pause it to get a screen shot for counting the build size before we start building it) it helps work out the size needed for positioning in a world if we want to recreate your builds 😁
Slowness is likely due to your pc (I used to play on my macbook and noteblocks used to lag all the time) or server (if you made it on one). It playing once could be to do with your method of powering, try copying the video exactly and use a pressure plate :)
