Crab snaring for lots of big Dungeness using the Scorpiontube 712 Snares and the Reaper Snares. I'm using up to 12oz snare to help my snare from dragging.
Thank you for making the video of catching crabs. Off the California beaches. I have a deep sea rod. I guess I need to get the snares. Also the pole that you stick in the sand to support your fishing rod. Where do you buy your equipment. Maybe in the future another video. You can probably post. The location that you buy your equipment from.
Came across your channel on my youtube recommended page. Keep it up! How long were you out there for? Went to Pacifica Pier for 2 hours today and didn't see anyone catch anything since the swell was too high
If its not heavy put it under your arm but if its heavy meaning big crab or more than one crabs so you need to put it on your hip. Using long handle rod will help you a lot too with casting and reeling😊 You’ll get them next time. If your local ill let you know when i go and you can join.
omg! wow --- that's impressive, the bait being just taken like that.............. is that at ocean beach? scorpion, can you say where you're at? i gave up on that place... it's flat as a pancake, and all these guys are always there, oh, and the surf is tuff................ altho, i'm not sure where this is........ were you there on the 25th? happy christmas, bruh! looks cool
We went out day after Christmas, 2pm - 5pm used 7oz no luck. We are looking at going Friday at 9AM Slack tide What are the best conditions? Anywhere on Ocean Beach (upper middle lower)? Where did you get your finger glove? What did you soak your bait in? Do you sell your Scorpiontube 712 Snare?
That was out going tide and start slowing when in coming tide. The finger glove you can get it at Amazon. You can use Pro Cure to soak your bait and yes i do sell my snare. I still have 4 snare left and cant take any order after that cause still waiting for the right parts.
Great day!!! Question: What type and size/weight line are you using? I have 50lb J Brade on both of my rigs and I'm afraid of making my snares that heavy. 10 oz is some serious lead to be tossed! Did you see Matts video when he went out treasure hunting at a minus low tide?
@@scorpiontube712 thank you for the tip. I'm in the bay area and plan on being in Pacifica on the 8th I think. Whatever the 1st day is for Dungeness Crab
Next to Quintara st. When it comes to adding weight, it depends on the currents. With my 4 oz snares sometimes i added 3,6oz but with crazy currents you have to add more
