Looks Good Catherine. On Valentine's Day I was looking at Vintage Recipes on FB and found this one and read all the ingredients and said wow I got all of this here now and made them. they are delicious. Classic Hershey's Brownies Ingredients 3/4 cup Hershey's cocoa 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 2/3 cup vegetable oil 1/2 cup boiling water (measure accurately) 2 cups sugar 2 eggs 1-1/3 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/4 teaspoon salt Instructions Stir cocoa and baking soda in mixing bowl. Blend in 1/3 cup vegetable oil. Add boiling water; stir until mixture thickens. Stir in sugar, eggs and the remaining 1/3 cup of vegetable oil; stir until smooth. Add flour, vanilla, and salt, blend completely. Pour into lightly greased 13 x 9-inch pan or two 8-inch square pans. Bake at 350 F for 35 to 40 minutes for the 13 x 9-inch pan; 30 to 32 minutes for the 8-inch square pans. Cool; frost, if desired.

These brownies look decadent Catherine! 😍 The sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips on top melted in for an extra layer of yumminess!😋 The only things I would be tempted to add are caramel and pecans! That would be the richest turtle brownie I think I would ever have! 😘 Even then, adding vanilla ice cream would still be necessary because that's in the official rule book of baking! ☺️ This is totally worth a try and I'll be passing on the recipe to deserving others! 😉 Thanks for sharing another incredible recipe! 🥰

Just made a batch of homemade brownies last week from scratch with the simplest ingredients...never made them homemade b4 & I'll prob never used boxed again bc they were out of this world good! To make them extra yummy (kinda like this recipe), I took them out about 10 min b4 they were finished, added ¼c melted butter with a spoon of sugar, then took a cup of chopped pecans & placed them evenly on top, then spread the melted butter over them and put back in the oven 10 mins. It was like the top of a pecan pie & boy, did it make those brownies extra delicious!!! Thanks for another alternative topping...def wanna try this one!

@@markbrookes6557 it really was! I'm 50 years old and they were the best brownies I've ever had my life and I could kick myself for not making them homemade before! For the recipe I literally Googled "quickest easiest homemade brownies" and they gave me a simple recipe with butter, sugar, eggs, cocoa powder, milk and vanilla. I added the topping.

Catherine, I usually put m&m’s in my batter. Sometimes I put a bag of Andes Mints chopped on top as soon as they come out of the oven, once it melts spread with a knife, it is so pretty!

Homemade is always best, but when I'm in a hurry, I like to use Duncan Hines Chewy Fudge brownie mix (using milk instead of the water that's called for), and then I'll put Mini M&M's on top just before baking. I use 2 boxes and bake in a half sheet pan for the perfect thickness! SO delicious!! It's a hack for Little Debbie's Cosmic brownie, but way better!

They look really good. I remember when Duncan Hines brownie mix had a chocolate syrup packet. Their peanut butter cookie mix had a pouch of Jif Peanut Butter you could add also.
