Hattiesburg hasn't been "small" since a couple of years after Katrina. A lot of people moved there from places affected by the hurricane though a lot of them moved on a few years later. I live about an hour northwest of Hattiesburg. Population is just shy of 50,000 now and if you haven't been there in awhile you won't recognize it. The traffic congestion is unreal and businesses have sprung up overnight on 98 west of there. Even Petal isn't the same where my daughter lives.

Today , I was asked to be in charge of the food part of a brunch . When I saw this , I immediately knew it must be on the menu . Thank You . I'm also adding this to my list of favorites in a book that I will be leaving to my granddaughter . I watch you often and have made your dishes often . I will tell where I got this recipe from .

Can’t wait to make these! My mother and sister live in Hattiesburg and I’m from Pascagoula. I moved to Dallas in 1978 and that’s where I met and married my husband. What a coincidence!

Hi from the UK. We do enjoy watching your recipes and the ingredients which we can’t get over here. The sauce is pronounced WUS-TER-SHUR. It is one of those words that is pronounced differently to the way it looks.

My daughter and son in law moved to Hattiesburg from the Katy Tx area a few years ago when son in law began coaching at USM. They now live in Petal and daughter teaches kindergarten for Petal ISD. Very pretty area.

Looks good! Can’t wait to try! I think I’d mix all the cheeses/spices together first and then add the ham. I’m going to use my small cookie scoop to put the mixture on the rolls.

These look absolutely delicious. I knew about Hattiesburg Mississippi from the TV show In the Heat of the Night starring Carroll O'Connor. Hattiesburg was about an hour away from the fictional Sparta.

I was thinking of doing the lazy way! Layer the bottom with Cresent roll, lsyer the dip mixture on top, then top with second roll of Cresent rolls and top with the dressing.
