This is a taste test/review of the Cracker Barrel Single Bowl Macaroni & Cheese Dinner in the Sharp Cheddar variety. It is seasoned with paprika and a touch of ground mustard and topped with toasted breadcrumbs. 1 Bowl = 370 calories

OK, I know it is kind of a TV infomercial gimmick, but it really doesn't cost much. I recommend the Rapid Mac Cooker. It's really just a plastic bowl, with a line where you fill the water to. But, it is handy. You can just take a box of macaroni to work, I'm sure it is cheaper than the frozen kind. Also, a can of tuna or some ham chunks. I don't usually buy stuff that is a gimmick, but the bowl that I got is way better than tupperware, and it will last a long time. At Wal-Mart, where I bought it, the German guy said it was the best thing he ever bought. You can even put hot dogs or sausages in with the macaroni.

The mistake made here, is that this is not a comparison video. This product originally came in a family sized meal. I bought it religiously. Its one of the few macaroni's on the shelf that has dijon mustard in it. Which is what tends to add its signature flavor, however, they took the family bag away at my Walmart. I seen this version of the product tonight and grabbed a few. Happy that atleast "single serving size" bowl was available again, but it doesnt quite live up, it seemingly doesnt have ENOUGH spices compared to it's original. That being said, I still think it's better and more complex then any other macaroni on Walmart shelves.
