Well squad, it's been quite a while since we last uploaded, but we're really excited to bring you this epic bottle dump dig which was actually filmed on my birthday! The mud kindly provided us with some lovely gifts...

Oy Oy, My Fave Father / Daughter team is BACK , Hooray !!!! So much more effort than previous dump excursions. The regular size Swamp Root is quite a nice looking bottle. Sample sizes of it are not found often. So a bit rarer than the average size. yeah, part of the Big "Snake Oil" charlatans of early America. Ty for taking us along

HOORAY! No. HUZZAH! That’s better. Welcome back! I am so happy that you are! Actually,my favorite find was one that you didn’t keep. It was that large stoneware that was split right down the middle,top to bottom. Personally,I think that it was a great study in the wall thickness,etc. and was a rare opportunity to witness it,because you’re not going to cut one in half,that would be bonkers. Also,to the person who purchased on Etsy,that necklace featuring the tiny sea glass bottle neck: You are a fortunate person indeed. That is stunningly beautiful and meaningful,wow.

Welcome back! Awesome finds! I love the dolls head! I would think that some bottles like the pickle bottles could be cleaned up and new cork stoppers would make great bottles to make your own flavored vinegars or oils for cooking. It's amazing that spot in super finds. After watching a video about a woman who dries out those nasty nettles and watching her make a thread with them used to make hair netting, It makes me look at them in a whole new light! Even though I know nettles are edible and people make a tea from it, I haven't had the nerve to try it even though it supposed to be very good for you. All I kept thinking was Ouch! lol be careful out there!

I have fond memories of battling through the stinging nettles, tearing them out, beating them down, only to find a wasp nest...good times:) Ok, made it kind of to the end of the vid. I live just outside of Binghamton NY! We’re a small “upstate” city near the southern border of NY. If you’ve heard of Scranton PA, we’re about 70 miles to the north. I’d never heard of this “swamp root” stuff. People in that era must have been very brave - or very desperate - to try this sort of “cure.” I just love watching your videos. You both do a fabulous job putting them together. Oh, and happy belated birthday!

The small embossed bottle - Dr. Kilmer's Sample Swamp Root.....is from Binghamton, New York. It is pronounced as Bing Ham Ton. Fifty miles from where I live. Very surprised you would find bottles from the US. Happy Birthday, and keep on digging.

Mudlarking is great but not the be all and end all life happens in between and we have to navigate what's best for us .you do what you can when you can and no more ,life is tough enough . Missed you! Dr. Kilmer medicines I collect. Since I pulled my first one out of the ground in 1971!!! You need the great Kidney shaped one. And the Ocean Weed Heart shaped one, and the ever expensive, elusive Indian Lung shaped one! I’m still searching for it!!! 50 some years later!!! Great video!

I grew up near Binghamton NY. It was a fairly small city but had great wealth due to mant things being manufactured there- from Player Pianos to Patent Medicine. The fine public buildings and elegant mansions were set in well maintained streets and parks leading to it being called "The Parlor City".
