what the fuck happened to danis voice? i am just watching the concert from the heavy, left handed dvd (nottingham rock city in 2001) and there his voice sounds so perfect, especially his high screams. now his high screams sound very weak and he cant even hit those extremely high notes anymore.

i think for girls its not that hard to hit those notes.

its not black metal. you can call it dark metal, extreme metal, gothic metal whatever. but it definitely is no black metal. as an example, listen to the song "the foetus of a new day kicking" by them, especially the chorus (it's even sung CLEAN!) this really has nothing to do with black metal anymore.

It is Black Metal because their music takes a inspiration from Viking themes. It doesnt really matter anyway, all these sub-genres are getting ridiculous if you ask me. Its Black Metal and thats all.. i have no idea why people try to make it more complicated with this extreme metal hardcore or whatever. Guess thats just my opinion just as you gave yours.
