It's 2022. I'm 40 now. And I never expected that I'd be thoroughly impressed, and enjoying CoF as much - or maybe more - as back in '98 when I was 16, and went to their first ever show in NYC!
@@Necropantz This is conjecture, but its known that dani likes to drink. I remember attending a show where he was absolutely fall over drunk BEFORE the show started. IMO too many drunk nights of forcing the shrieks did some irreparable damage and because alcohol numbs pain he did fuck all about it.
@@harrydresden4661 This is true he talked about in interviews that he didn't take care of the voice back in the day and was not using proper techniques. But since the early 2000s he has seen a voice instructor and perfected his technique and recently he's said that doing the screams and stuff doesn't hurt him at all anymore because he does them properly. But I feel like that also means that he can't do the more crazy screams that he used to do because he would have to hurt his voice to do that. And also he's said that he drinks tea on the road for his voice and doesn't drink as much anymore while touring
I'm so happy Dani found this stable line up for some time now. They sound really tight and you can really feel the many hours they've been rehearsing old tunes. I've been a fan since 98 when I got 'Cruelty And The Beast' back when I was 14yrs old. Impressive how Dani manages to keep delivering those really high pitch screams and notes. Plus their last 3 albums are really a back in shape for this band.
Dude....this shit gave me the goosebumps listening to it....I've been a 20 year + COF fan and the fa t that DANI still has those highs ontop of hearing some of their older tunes makes me just so happy!! Love you DANI!!!!! I FREAKINI G WILL ALWAYS BE A COF fan.!!!! Makes me want to hide in the woods and sacrifice a human in the name of witchery
A lot of time since I don't hear CoF with this anticipation, this Dusk And Her Embrace album was (or maybe still is) one of my top ten favourite Metal albums of all times...
@@Merlin0fCamelot Not just the drumming, pretty much everything. The riffs were more interesting and the songwriting overall. Each tune was memorable and clearly distinct from the others. I can't say that about most of the later material.
Calma gente, ele não disse "A melhor" ele disse umas das melhores. Eu gosto do Cradle por trazer algo totalmente diferente de outras bandas só não gosto que negaram que tinham influência do Black metal nos primeiros álbuns, basicamente surfaram nele e depois cagaram no prato que comeram.

Those high pitched screams are still awesome, not like they were on the Dusk era but we have to give credit to Dani for screaming with awesome filthiness for more than 30 years.
The last time Cradle performed this song live was all the way back in 2005 with the Nymphétamine lineup at the time for a DVD. Amazed by this performance even though Dani's vocals no longer has the energy he used to have but he still nails it. Major props to Marthus, Daniel, Richard, Ashok and Anabelle for the amazing instrumentation.
Imagine if the you saw them for the last time in like '98 or something, then stumbled upon them again in 2022. It's like being in some kind of time warp 😳
@@nicksonora8091 I agree. I remembered listening to A Gothic Romance back in 2002 when I was doing homework at home and feeling anxious because I had bullies picking on me. When I was was 6, I listened to the Dusk and Her Embrace album the first time and I was instantly addicted to it. There is something about Cradle Of Filth that brings me tears of joy. Ever since I listened to Dani’s lyrical talents, I started writing my own stories and now I can’t stop! I don’t know how to explain it but it has that effect on me
