I discovered COF at Ozzfest in Ohio. Changed my life forever. Does anyone know of COF Ozzfest footage? If i had a time machine I would would go back to that day. I never seen anything like that before or since then... One day of my life i wish i could have back... People speak of "religious" experiences... I seen these dudes for the first time, headlining the first stage of Ozzfest, a few songs in it started to rain while they had people dressed up as demons doing a vegas stage show. A Women trapeze like 20 feet in the air spinning, what seemed to be uncontrollably. I've seen Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Yngwie Malmsteen, Manson, Zombie, Queensryche, The Who, ICP, Sabbath, Ozzy, and so much more, and that Cradle show may be my favorite of all time. If anyone has or can find footage of this Cradle Ozzfest show, please let me know. I've spent like 2 decades wanting to relive that experience, truly life changing, jaw on the floor moment
I don't know why but the guitarist (marek) always has this look on his face that looks to me like "they're getting me in this shot right? Do they see my guitar? Should I play like this so you can see my guitar?"
While this lineup is definitely the best they’ve had in years, the drummer is certainly no Nick Barker: he’s butchering the bass drum work throughout the song...
Matthew Baumann He’s decent, but I don’t think he’s up to this gig. Check out Thirteen Autumns and a Widow from any live gig in the last couple years. The first riff is supposed to have blastbeats matching the riffs, but when they play it live, he’s doing a drum roll with both hands. There’s a pro-shot live video of it here on RU-vid somewhere. Even though it sounds trivial, it totally threw me right off. So yes, dude is a decent drummer, but compared to Barker and Erlandsson (spelling?), he leaves something to be desired, and is a step down in terms of abilities.
