I love the comments left by the hardcore COF fans all upset that Blayne didn't take reviewing the album seriously just because he made some rather amusing jokes during the review. Reality check! It's very common for a reviewer of an album to not necessarily be a fan of the style or band in particular. He was very upfront that he wasn't all that into this style of metal but also mentioned many aspects of the album that he did enjoy. He also mentioned that if you are a fan of COF that you're going to love the album and likely not agree with his score/opinion. But that's what a review is when you get down to it. It's someones opinion. Personally i really enjoyed this review and look forward to 100% more reviews each week!!! Cue the goth shit...

I thought it is a fun review, but man. This album is easily 9/10 and in my opinion one of the albums of the year. Just give it a listen, you wont be disappointed. I waited 20 years from Cradle to drop such masterpiece of an album.

Yes, the second he said "que the goth shit" this review lost all credibility. The goth shit, ladies and gentlemen, is what make CoF, CoF. And if you actually read the lyrics, the entire album is goth shit.

The so called "goth shit" is what makes Cradle of Filth so unique, and with a variety of songs hardly seen in any other band. This album is an absolute masterpiece and a great comeback to the old atmosphere they used to have back in the 90's. It is epic and heavy, just what the fans wanted
