Dani Filth and Gian Pyres was 28 years old and Paul Allender 31. I started to listen CoF with 15 years old, now I am almost 31, the year of Paul Allender on this show. This is insane, the time flies.
I wonder what langauge Dani is speaking when he says "Heil Vaskt, drinker of blood, dancer on flames, disposer of light, lover of darkness. Shes holding an inquisition from the bandaged, feeble, watch" He sounds so dark and satanic lmao. 1:48 You baptize those people Dani!
Yet another one to the fav list i own this dvd but yea youtube is easier ooo and for those cradle listeners prepare yourself one of the greatest cradle songs ever ^^
best part I slay the lamb in the fervour of thine Abandonment unto Our Lady With a quenchless thirst for the infinite For Her that exists beyond all knowledge Storming from tired centuries Under the glare of a waxing death-moon Terrible beauty of love severed Rip the baby from the virginal womb
@metldrummer2112 Well said, and that bass riff makes this song 10 times better haha (I play bass, so for me its pretty much the sickest part in the song)
@TheReaper1337 My guess is this bassist couldn't hold a candle to Robin Eaglestone, which is why it isn't done live anymore, nor was it done on the Bitter Suites remake. Even though this song was off TPOEMF, I think had they stayed with the Cruelty lineup, things would have been so much better from then on out.
I didn't say anything negative towards COF, there awesome... I just said this song sounds like a song by another band... IDK who made first or what but they both are awesome
i think is vocals are more of death growls, death howls, death shrieks. aswell as someothers like melodic vocals. but it is not called screaming. he uses the vocal styles called drive and there is another i think it is called speed but i cant remember
@metldrummer2112 Shit, I always thought that Robin left sooner than he did. This is him here, so I have no clue why it's not played. I always forget that he was the longest lasting original member (besides Dani).
este era el verdadero poder en sus inicios ahora dany abusa de gritos muy agudos y ya no suena tan tenebroso como en sus inicios, COF a evolucionado mucho que ya es irreconocible , es mi punto de vista muy personal
@DIABOLI999666 you can't say that dani filth is ausome all you have to do is just listen to his amazing vocals and his charming, filthy good looks (lol) and anyway where was this when we got kicked out the bar?
The original version of this song had a serious sound quality issue to it, and you cannot deny that it sucks for that reason a little bit. This live performance doesn't have the best sound quality either. The revised version of this same song that came on some later album is very nice though, and in my opinion it has some chance of being among the best black metal pieces ever made. It has a perfect combination of the essential black metal elements, nice (often underrated) simplicity, and fine sound quality.
@WinterDieGier I don't know man... that seems to be consistent with live footage of every metal band. You watch them to see how they do crazy shit live and then they just don't do them. At least it's not as bad as In Flames only playing one part of the guitar harmony because they can't find an extra guitarist and they're lazy fucks who can't play two notes at once. But I digress... yeah this song is my favorite CoF song. Fucking metal!
@TwilightAronXD Cos its far too clean. I like the subject matter of the album but like i said its far too clean. Bu if you like it then your entitled to your opinion :)
i don't understand.. what is to like? I have been a musician all my life and this is just awful. maybe the instruments are ok, but the singer.. is god awful
