Craft some fun merchant tables for your next Dungeons & Dragons session full of custom fun details. These tables can be used as merchant stands, tables in a tavern, or even as part of a large vendor tent in the middle of your medieval village :) I make use of greenstuff, hydrostone, wiring and more in this video. It's a great intro into the world of crafting!

I used to DM 4th edition D&D before starting college 3 years ago. This channel is great and I wish I had found it back then because I was scrounging second-hand shops, garage sales, and getting disappointed with what little usable stuff I found in my area. I try to find the time to do these “mini” crafts with the few and non-standard materials I have on hand. Even though my free time is getting sparcer and sparcer, I enjoy watching the process of every craft.

A lot of Dollar Tree locations still have a great option to add to it for a market. It's in their unpainted, wood dollhouse stuff in the toys isle it's a table that if you flip it over, you can easily drape something over the top to make a cover and I used adhesive backed felt to cover the underside of the table before putting some bits and pieces onto the ones I did for different stalls. They're a bit larger, but they're very little work and extremely cheap for populating a market or festival...I'd gotten inspired by the descriptions of Gathers in the Pern books, mainly the Dragonsinger and Dragondrums books from the Harper Hall ones

Excellent build. I like how you did the coil wires for the battery connection but I recommend you make the coils somewhat rigid using a small piece of tape or a glue on the backside of each coil to keep it from shorting out. If it shorted it could cause a small fire. Nice work as always!

Damn, I need to build out my roof, just so I can start making terrain. (currently I have no room to store them) And as Usual I thought about some improvements/multi use for those stands/tables. If you make the top and bottom seperate, you can use them either as tables or with any kind of magnetized top as "whatever vendor/stand/table" you need them to be. Keep them all in a box and you are ready for whatever encounter comes up. You could even make some of the "light up" versions if you connect the wires to the magnets, so that they light up as soon as you connect the parts with each other. (like either the lantern, or a pumpkin for halloween, or a "christmastree"(out of clear epoxy painted with seethrough paints), etc. You could even use the base and add different fronts to them via magnets to make them look like vendors with cloth hanging down the front, or shields for the weapon/armor smith, or just make "drawers" in front of them to have them usuable as cupboards etc. The more options you can think of, the more you can get out of this, with less storage place needed. (also works fine with Haunted Houses or big Castles) And lastly: for everyone that thinks about modeling in miniature form: Check out marzipan/sugarpaste modeling videos on youtube. Everything learned there can be applied to the use of whatever stuff you use, except you cant eat it if you fail with your work.
