In today’s video, I share my craft room tour! I also give some organization ideas. I keep pretty busy running my Etsy shop selling vinyl decals, wood signs, and personalized gifts, so my craft room has been a hot mess these last few months of living here! I am ready to head into this new year with a fresh, organized space! Hope you get some tips and ideas to organize your craft space too!

For your large brown paper roll simply add an L shaped pipe with a flange and 90 degree elbow to a wall stud to the right of your large vinyl holder. Love your channel!!!

Put the peanuts in a round trash can with a lid. Saves oom ad easy to scoop out of. I do like you desk with the X style. Thanks for sharing.

On the craft table you might consider putting a holder for your craft paper and roll it over your table when you need to make a mess then all you need to do is tear it off and roll it back up. Hope this makes sense. I also go to my local newspaper and ask for their end rolls. They are super cheap and super heavy but it’s great for your craft table. Hope this makes sense!

I like the color of the MDF table top. I would leave it just like it is. After it has been used for several years you may find that it is showing signs of wear and then you can think about what to do with it. Painting it would be one option. Putting vinyl shelf liner is an idea but it will start to curl quickly. My Dad bought a new refrigerator but didn't like the color and put the vinyl shelf liner on it, and when I inherited the house that was one of the first things I undid. It was beginning to curl up in places, so I just peeled it all off.

Also I finally just cleaned my cutting mats. It was so easy just soapy water and a scrubby sponge. They are like brand new!

Lowe's and Home Depot sell clear acrylic sheets and will cut to size. I use them on my desk to protect it and also to store important notes, pictures and things underneath it where I can see it. Maybe that could work for you.

You can clean your cutting mats with soap & water, allowing them to dry completely. If they still aren’t sticky enough, you can mix equal parts Alene’s Tack It Over & Over glue with water. Paint this onto your clean mats & let dry. It will be VERY sticky. You can tone down the stick a little by blotting it (after it’s dry) with a clean t-shirt. You could probably add a little less glue to the water, but I haven’t actually done that.

I love your space. I chose a small bedroom in a house that my dad gave me for my crafting space/office. It's so quiet. I am very appreciative of the house. I am hardly over there because I still craft at home. Your tour is inspiring and motivates me to finish getting my space together. I have everything I need to be productive. I used self sticking floor plank tiles on my table top and it is so durable and it was under $40 to do a 6ft by 4ft size table.

Baby wipes! Scrape all big pieces of debris off mat, then clean really good with a baby wipe. Set aside to dry and it’ll be like new. Your room looks great! I love the simplicity of it!

Clean your mats with Windex and a scrape with a credit card; wipe clean and let dry. It works great!

I have yet to clean mine since my cricut is newish (a little over a month) but I have hear best thing is non alcohol baby wipes or the spray cleaner from dollar tree called "Awesome". I am in love with how organized you are and the simplicity of it! Right now I work at my dinning table and my back hallway along with a corner of my dinning g room is where I ha e boxed of supplies. I am hoping to figure out a way to put some shelves or something in my back hall but I have to be careful since that is my way out to the garage and also where my laundry is.

Clean your mats with the awesome spray from dollar tree and then wipe with baby wipes or Clorox wipes to bring back the stickiness,

Love your desk! My husband made me pretty much the same L shaped one. My part was sanding, staining and painting. I love the look of the darker stain. Mine is a little lighter. I love the idea of using dollar tree plate racks for my vinyl. I am finding having stuff in drawers makes me forget it’s existence. Lol.

Some soapy water as below for mats and also a baby wipe works great for a quick clean . I love your craft room and organization.

I would do some cross supports to help give it more stability. On the top I 'd spray a Matt varnish to give it a hard finish (3-4)coats. It will be good for quick wipe and clean.

You should hang your bag from the ceiling and add a clip at the bottom to dispense the peanut foam. There is a product sold just like that.

I have daylight bulbs in my light fixtures. Suprisingly it is brighter but doesn't hurt my eyes like regular florescent lights.

I had a table like your MDF table. I painted it and sorry that I did that. I would suggest leaving it as is. IKEA sells (in the kids section) a paper roller that holds a roll of paper (brown or white). You can attach it to your table and as you start working ion a project just pull off the amount of paper you need. I got this idea from the Daily DIYER and it works great.

This is crazy! I've never seen this video before not have I watched any of your videos. Having said that my craft room/office just got a facelift and made that desk,one does have 2 shelves. I have the plant actually 2 from TJ Max. And I just got that rug from Home Goods! I also put in a wood floor and wood plank feature wall. Love your room, organization ideas, and will be adding some of your ideas to my room 🙂

Great storage tips - thanks. Have you thought about those net hammocks / fabric hammocks that you can use to store the packaging peanuts on the wall? To clean your Mats you just need to scrub of the lint and stuff then wipe it clean with a baby wipe and it will be way more sticky!!

Where do you get your large rolls of vinyl that you hung on the PVC pipe. All I can find is the 5 ft. Rolls. Thank you for the video that I just found. Lol. Have a blessed night 💞

I use MDF for my work tables as well. MDF looks fantastic... but - never put a cup of coffee on it - without a coaster. You may end up with a rang on the table - and your heart will fall the second you see it. :(
