Thanks for a great little interview. Bill was one of my first “Inspirers” for this hobby - still chuckle watching the beginning of old vids, where we catch him tipping back the ol mug 🤪 Cheers to both of you, and wishes for many more inspiring years ahead! 👍🏻🍻
I've been a subscriber to both of you for years now and even my wife enjoys watching. Thanks to both of you for your contribution to this hobby! BTW neon skies looks fantastic!
I love the answer to "how can people follow you?" We have watched the complete Tomb of Horrors build so many times that I've lost count. Bill, your voice is a comforting sound in our household.
I really liked the simple terrain video that Wyloch did awhile back. Lots of inspirational stuff. Also this video explains why he smiled, drank a coke and walked away from me when I tried to aggravate him that one time.
Thanks for the vid. It was nice to hear Bill reply to your questions. I enjoy hearing personal details about creators. Look forward to future interviews.
Nice video! I really like both channels, I've used stuff from both of you guys. Wyloch's walkways were a huge amount of fun to make, and I've also adapted several of his ideas like the rocky crags to my own table.
One of my constant inspirations hosts my other constant inspiration. I just love this idea, and there were some questions which every crafter should ask himself from time to time. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to go for in crafting and finally arrived recently to my (current) answer: modularity and style/atmosphere. I love the dioramas and big setpieces, but I had to realise that my DnD games benefit much more from modularity and versatility, and this is why both Scotty and Bill are my favorites, as they do exactly that. So just thank you both for the inspiration!
I will fully admit that you, Bill and many other Crafters are a great inspiration to me. There's no doubt in my mind I want to start it this otherwise.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the suggestion to, make a decision and move on if you get stuck. I've soooo been there, paralyzed by indecision. I believe next time I'm there, I'll let the die decide.
OMG, DM Scotty & Wyloch together, its like the Lollipop Guild and Oompa Loompas joined forces to create total awesomeness! Thanks guys! Best Line: What is your crafting philosophy? Blah, blah, blah, um... I don't really have one :/ Cracked me the hell up! :D
This is an interesting series. I hope it continues for several reasons. One, all the various crafting channels need promotion and who better to do so than the Craft Father. Two, once you get past the more prominent channels like Wyloch, you may introduce me to some channels I've not seen before. Three, it may get you back into posting videos regularly again as you've woefully been mostly absent in recent years. I don't know your reasons, perhaps you've been dealing with non-crafting personal issues, (if so, my condolences), perhaps you were feeling burnt out (perfectly understandable), or maybe you had run out of useful ideas and didn't want to start repeating yourself (again, perfectly understandable, you do have hundreds of videos on your channel). Either way, it's good to see more content from you and I hope it becomes a regular series.
I plan to continue the series and some of my own issues you have touched on. Although recent vids have been few and far between I still love the community and we have so many great crafters.
I have been ignited with so many art ideas lately!! I have collected so many things over the years and kept hoarding crafts that I felt I could make something. Now, all the ideas are coming together. I want to video finishing all the things I’ve-started and using up my supplies. Help please!
