Favourite Rare game?? Oof. GoldenEye’s the absolute classic, I think nostalgia just edges that out for me - the menu music is legit Diddy Kong Racing & Killer Instinct are close for me
Woah it looks amazing! The idea with the resin wasn't the original one at the end but I think it turned fantastic! Happy coincidences, as some great artist said XD Subscribed!!
This looks sick- I wonder if painting a base of white on the pink areas would help it cover easier? I have similar problems with yellow and that's what I do for that. Either way love the result- I'm gonna try incorporating some of what you did with the wood texture into my own builds from now on.
Problem is, white is as difficult to paint as yellow. But overall, you are absolutely right. The biggest factor in priming black and not white, were the tires. But it would have popped a little more overall, if primed white instead =) Thanks for watching man!
Kameo: Elements of Power was one of my favorite rare games (aside from the Donkey Kong Country games). It was, in my opinion, an underrated launch title for the 360 and one I remember fondly.
@@MiniQuest64 If you like an old school 3D-action adventure title and can get passed the admittedly dated graphics of EARLY Xbox 360, sure. Story's simple, gameplay's mostly 'transform into monsters to solve puzzles and beat up bad guys'. You can play it through the Rare Replay collection.
When I was wondering when we'd see your next project, you upload and it doesn't disappoint very good video hope you and everyone are doing well😊 I think Perfect Dark's Joanna Dark would make an awesome project
Thanks for sticking around and watching =) Appreciate it a lot man! You shouldn't have to wait so long for the next one! Is there any specific scene you're thinking about in perfect dark?
@@MiniQuest64 Not particularly, growing up I only got to see cool cut scenes from the game from watching a friend or in game magazines so I think a simple cool scene of Joanna sneaking around or action pose may be cool.
Hey, this is actually insane! You nailed the look of those 90’s renders from the SNES era down to every color! In terms of other Rare games I’d wanna see, I feel something Banjo Kazooie related would be really cool, keep up the good work! :)
This is super impressive! And I'm very happy to see some love for DKC3 as it was one of the first games I ever played. Resin is cool to use, but I'm always intimidated by it. And for good reason, I see... but I think it came out super cool in the end!
Once again, you made the whole process really fun and engaging! The video and the final result turned out fantastic, just like always. 💪 And of course, my favorite game from Rare is “Conker's Bad Fur Day”😎 for obvious reasons😂 (the weaky and gory single player story + the couch pvp) and its one of the few of its kind for the N64 at that time.
Man, I would love to see a diorama of one of the locals from Star Fox Adventures, ngl (the game is gorgeous). Really like how faithful this is to DKC3.
This is INCREDIBLE, you rock, I love this project, I’m a huge fan of DK country and miniatures/modeling, definitely subscribing. Also I really enjoyed your humor. Would love to see more DK displays but Banjo and Kazooie would be top tier!!
Great job! And trust me as someone who builds Gundam models and the like, if you can get away with faking textures on a model instead of having to engrave it for realism, you're better off. :D In this case, it's perfectly in line with the spirit of the subject.
It looks incredible! Happy to see some DKC3 love. Favorite Rare game is Banjo-Tooie, but honestly I’d love to see ANY Rare models you do, they’re my favorite!
You are amazing! Im such a huge DKC fan and seeing this randomly pop up was so excited! New sub for you! Also DKC2 is my favorite but id love to see you do a Diddy Kong Racing one!
Well, I've been fighting against the algorithm for as long as I make videos, so I'm happy you found your way here =) Banjo Kazooie is one of my all-time favorites, so there will be something in the future for sure!
I found you through Warcraft, but will gladly watch the entirety of the upcoming Rare series all the way through to Starfox Adventures. The technique is inspiring and I love the breakdowns!
I know the resin isn't exactly what you intended but it turned out looking amazing like that! Great job man! Also my favourite will always be Donkey Kong Country the original. Just perfect.
I use a Canon EOS M50 Mark II, it's a great camera, except for the fact that it doesn't have an input for a remote shutter release. Rare Replay is sooo good, man! And Conker will be coming for sure as a diorama =)
First time viewer here. Great video and awesome build! Based on the thumbnail I wondered if the characters would be polymer clay sculpts or something else. Still came out great though!
Welcome aboard! Glad to have you here =) I decided to go against the (more entertaining) way of traditional sculpting, so I can supply the sculpts I use or make digitally, to my viewers and they can craft their own adventures!
looks very nice, great work! I thought that you exaggerated a tittle bit in the wood texture and the fur adding too many detail layers, but it still looks very neat. thanks for the great content.
Oh yeah the fur definitely was too bright. I only added 3 to 5 layers, if it was a Warhammer miniature, that would have increased to 10 while being much, much smaller :D
Wow that looks really cool and I like it! I've only played Donkey Kong Country 3 on Nintendo Switch Online as a SNES game a bit. It looks fun but I've heard it's very hard. We know Rare is famous for original Donkey Kong Country series, Banjo-Kazooie, Conker, Killer Instinct, Viva Pinata, Goldeneye and Sea of Thieves. The British video game company is owned by an American computing giant, Microsoft since 2002. Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
This is amazing and nails down the Rare 90s look so well. My first suggestion is a little crazy and unpopular... I think a Dinosaur Planet diorama would be super cool. Not Star Fox Adventures, but its cancelled N64 version that had no Star Fox characters in it yet, since I find Sabre and Krystal's designs better looking than Fox's and... Krystal's in SFA lol, because they were more tribal and magical. Plus, Dinosaur Planet had the pterodactyl Kyte as Krystal's sidekick and she was very cute. Still, a SFA diorama would be fine too because it"d still have dinosaurs lol. Another suggestion I have is something with Gruntilda... because she's awesome lol. Maybe ol' Grunty looking herself in the mirror and seeing sexy game over Grunty? I'm spitballing lol. In general Banjo games are so fun and have so much spacial depth and plasticity to them that anything in them would look great as a diorama, really. Banjo's house, Mumbo's house, some areas of Grunty's lair, there are soo many great places to take from. Diddy Kong Racing would also be great for inspiration. A diorama with all three vehicles would rule and there'd be a challenge in making the airplane look like it's flying.
Some of the most creative responses I ever got! Completely agree on all the fantastic Banjo ideas! The cancelled dinosaur planet game, might not work for a video, because not many people are aware of that one! But I absolutely love your idea mate =)
