I think the bat in general is fine. It's technically a crafting ingredient, and if you find one, you'll be able to upgrade it almost immediately anyway.
Mmm chicken sushi. Should be able to craft a few things in game: a sporran bag is traditionally crafted from leather, that should definitely be a thing. We can make an improvised grill, but we should be able to make a spit to rotisserie chicken and even legs etc from larger animals.
On multiplayer, wild puppet spawns aren't all that common. Grim and I ran across 2 sectors and didn't have a single encounter early on unless we ran through or near a POI of any size. Wild puppets just aren't much of a thing it seems with .95.
Yes, craft the bat, but you can't use it. It's to check it off the list Also you may use the trader imo but only for food ingredients not allowed to eat anything directly from the trader.
I think bat with nails/barbwire should be useable if crafted. Just the plain bat can't be used. It's really no different than some of the other items. There are plenty of crafting items that you need items that are uncraftable to make. The baseball bat should count as a material, just like thread/scrap metal/feathers/etc.
Thanks for the suggestions, I will most likely skip the bat as if I cannot use it after crafting it, doesn't seem like much of a point. But that depends on how far this challenge goes really!
I don't know how this fits into your rules but there is something to think about: you can get animal skin by cutting leather holsters (not tactical ones) Edit: same goes for leather melee sheath
Hi, sure you can't make skewers with chicken meat? I think it's only the legs wich can't be cooked without a grill but need no book for that, but I can also be wrong bout that. Either way, it's dumb. Simple survival cooking like processing meat and vegetables on a simple fire should really be looked into.
Sadly only red meats can be used in skewers, I wish chicken could be. Thighs and breasts would be good, but for some reason the devs hate us and want us to die of food poisoning that doesn't exist.
@@palfy205 Alright, I remember they added fish skewers not too long ago, somehow I thought chicken skewers came along with it. I couldn't check beforehand, I don't have the game installed atm. Oh well then, maybe fishing is the way to go then for this challenge. :) Anyway, nice series. Cheers
The hunting game is not required. Though it is still there, you will occasionally run into animals in the wild but not very commonly. I ran into bunnies and smaller animals through the forest and bigger animals near farming houses.
