I think those were Solomon knots on the buckle.

I do apologize for being a bother, but if you do not have the time to make a video that is completely understandable. I just wanted to know from that pull tie to make it tighten and loosen from the bottle is it a completely separate string that you tie on and then tie the knot? And would you know that name of that knot so I could just look it up. Please and thank you.
