Nice pattern. I'm using this because I want a bottle to stay securely strapped under bungees on a paddle board and I don't want the bottle to slip. The height of the snake knot sinnets when using 550 cord serves this purpose. It's not as ergonomic to hold as my Carrick bend wrap, but that's exactly why I made it. I'm sure it's more comfortable with the smaller cord you've used here.

The more open work turns this into a net, and classically, we'd use a spreader bar, maybe a ruler, so each knot is tied an equal distance from the last. It can be problematic if using an elastic material, but true paracord should have zero give.
