I just realized what one-of-a-kind diorama I want to see someday in the setting of World of Warcraft! It is an out of bounds diorama! There's a thriving scene of WoW exploration where players get into different unavailable corners of the world that shouldn't be accessible. For instance, when you get into a dungeon you in most cases enter a special verison of the map that only contains closest part of the dungeon's world surroundings (to serve as background), but the rest of the world map is just cut off. In this out of bounds setting there's a myriad of cool anomalies: continents that are cut in a jigsaw pattern with the cut-walls having giant heights; different assets floating midair; terrain textures that don't gradually mix but instead have hard edges, and also sometimes used as a brush by programmers to draw something like a smiley face or write "HELP" etc. So, how cool would that be to have a full-blown diorama of some iconic out of bounds location in Azeroth? With all these never-intended-to-be-seen anomalies realized there. This would truly be a one-of-a-kind diorama, bringing to life something that is ethereal even in the game itself.

plenty of people have mentioned Starcraft, which would be awesome, but I would also love to see iconic World of Warcraft zones treated with this much love and skill
