Craftmade Decorative 52" ceiling fan in chrome. This time it's shown with the black blades I swapped in from another fan as well as different glass. I love the black/chrome combo so this was too good to pass up on when I had the opportunity to make the pairing. You can see I also got a shorter downrod for it, that was direct from Craftmade, I did not cut the original. Craftmade actually stocks quite a range of older downrod finishes, which is pretty impressive and really great if you need to change one out. Before putting this fan up, I also gave it the thorough cleaning that I never did when I first got it. There were some greasy patches, it wasn't bad so I never bothered much trying to clean it all off, but this time I figured it was worth doing and it really came out looking mint. So gorgeous, so shiny. Absolutely love chrome.

Oh my gosh, same here (of what you said in the description box), yeah I insanely Love the combo of chrome (and also brushed nickle) colored ceiling fans with black blades too (mainly when adapted with 5-blades). Yeah I remembered checking out your original video of it with the white blades, since it first appeared on your channel (which was around the time when I didn't have a RU-vid account).

What did you use to make the chrome shine and really pop?

Just washed all the parts I could in warm water with some regular blue Dawn soap. The switch housing and lower housing plate I wiped down with Simple Green and buffed away the foggy residue it left behind with a soft cloth. It really didn't need much on my part, it was already in great shape to begin with. My washing just removed some patches of grease that weren't very noticeable, but I wanted cleaned regardless.
