I'm reviewing my Craftsman cordless 6 1/2 inch Circular Saw after 6 months of use. I use it almost daily and really put it to hard work and it's performed as I expected a Craftsman tool to preform.

Really good review. I've looked everywhere to find one. I'm 50 years old and I've never used a circular saw in my life. Yes, that's probably strange to some but I just never needed one until now. Thank you for all of the information you provided because now I know everything I need to.

You should mention that the blade hold down bolt is left hand thread. I got myself a 8 amp hour battery for the tools that take a heavy load and they work so much better and last longer.

Nice review of the circular saw from Craftsman. I'm considering gradually going Craftsman and would like to hear your opinion on various tools they make.

I have used many different brands throughout my career and Craftsman has been in my shop for over 30 years. I will say that several years ago Craftsman tools were struggling with quality and the price was too high for what you got. Why Craftsman was sold and the new owners have stepped up and are turning heads. I am trying to replace all my other cordless brands with Craftsman tools cause with the Quality and Price you can't beat it. I picked up a Cordless Jigsaw and it has been awesome for me and what I do. And the Cordless Saber Saw is not to heavy and powers through a lot with a quality blade. Thanks for the comment 👍

Thanks for the video .. Not sure why i do not have the same results. The battery is the same you got and when i use it it just stops. Not able to cut any piece. Any advice?

With a full charge, my battery will last a while. When my battery gets low it will stop, without slowing or lagging.

Great review!! First time here i subscribed really enjoy the way you explained things and honest review. I bought a grinder drill 1/4 inch drill driver 1/2 inch impact with 2 small batteries n 2 4.0 batteries 2 chargers used but wanted a circular saw so went bought a new tool only one today just used it a little but it did great. Awesome. How long does the battery last and about how many cuts before it dies?

I can go for 6 to 7 hours of use before it on the last bar of power. I built a set of kitchen cabinets on site with a whole charge with multiple tools.
