Hello Bryan, that is like the little tiller that i use in my raised beds. this is interesting because I sort of have the same tool. love seeing how you fixed it. just in case mine does the same thing. Lots of work but it will be great. Take care love to you too Aunt💕Nonnagrace
Hi Bryan 👋 You are such a hard worker and can do soooo many things and thats what always amazes me about you 🎉 Your always on the move and keeping busy. Thanks for sharing with us, hope you had a wonderful day 🌈 Sending lots of love 💕
Its so good to see you know what your doing when it comes to mechanics. One of the best skills out there to have lots of equipment used on a Homestead are what helps to function some parts on a Homestead very educational. God bless you too.
I remember how that rear tine tiller would drag me around lol.. So glad I can hold my tiller down, frontine 😊👍🏼I appreciate you sharing what you are doing..Good luck with it..
Would like know about tge bearing on the ground shaft. I have seen two videos now that show that bearing, its called out on tge diagram as item 27 (102100x). When I took my unit apart there was no bearing, no spacer and no o-ring. Is that only used after a certain year?
I'm not sure if that is the case or not. It very well could be the case. What is your model number and serial number on your tiller. Maybe I can do some digging for you and see what I can find.
If you come across one that is being sold for cheap because it won't shift gears, buy it. It is an easy fix. Well it takes a little work but it can be fixed. There are a lot of YT videos of people fixing this same problem on their Craftsman Tiller.
Same issue. The wheels on mine is rusted on (I think). After taking the pin that passes through the wheel hub and shaft, how do you unfreez the wheel?? Been trying for a while now!
If I remember right, I had put some heat on it with a torch. Got the rust to break loose only on the one wheel. Separated the two gear case halves with the one wheel off.
I might be able to find some leads on a few people I know that may be able to help find parts. It just depends on the car you are looking for parts for.
