Thanks for the videos. I just bought the Craftsman V20 cordless lawnmower from Lowes. I love this thing!!! Quiet, light-weight, no maintenance, no fumes, no gas, no carburetor issues and no more cussing the pull cord every spring!!! I decided to sell all of my other battery formats and gradually switch to Craftsman V20 platform. I also got their V20 string trimmer that comes with the 4ah battery. You're 100% right, 2ah isn't enough. Just subbed, thanks again
Wow! Today I just purchased the v20 craftsman lawnmower and the weed eater came with it for free @ Lowes! I’m very excited to put them to the test on my yard tomorrow!
Hey thanks so much for the video on the craftsman V 20 edger and Weedwhacker. You really made it so much easier for me to get going on my yardwork. We are out here in eastern North Carolina where trimming and edging and cutting grass is a year-round job! Thanks so much for the help we really appreciate you.
When I sold in my original home I left all the gas equipment as part of the deal. I have a relatively small yard now and this is the way to go but these will be a challange for larger yards. I used to have 3/4 acre where gas equipment was the way to go. For the money, it cant be beat especially when its on sale for 100 dollars at Lowes. I am at the age that I do not want to deal with gasoline (except for my Stihl blower which I wll never part with). I got rid of all my gas equipment except for my Stilh backback blower. I have not looked back. I really like the ability of the blower as it is very light weight and perfect for daily cleaning of the patio. for someone who wants a useful reliable tools this combo gets the job done efficiently. Thanks for your review.
Same reason I didn't buy this duo combo set. I love my stihl, equipment n once I read that the box only comes w a 2ah battery, I knew that was not going to please me.
I honestly thinks its a really solid combo! I have the same bundle. But, it isn't as powerful as a gas powered Craftsman, or a Ryobi. But still really good! I recommend for any new house owners that are looking for a budget bundle!
I have a slightly different model but this video helped none the less. Thought the screw I was looking to undo was on the device itself and not the guard 😃. Looking at your video tho showed me how to operate this one. Super similar design.
Thanks for the tip for the blower I just got. For allergies take Vitamin B-Complex any e.u. one at night one at breakfast. Just remember vitamin b doesn't stay in your system so take daily and your pee will be yellow like butter. Works for me as u take one at night u are clear in the sinus in the morning. Helps keep u calm too.
It's perfect. Quiet so I am not "that neighbor" outside at 7am with the loud mower. I also have the craftsman lawnmower and use the same high power battery for the mower/weed eater and blower.
Watched this review; IMO if you can live w/o the blower, Craftman does sell the weed wacker solely w 5ah battery. Trade off is the blower or stronger battery. I got tired b4 the battery ran low. 😊 It was only $34 dollars more not on sale.
Would've liked to see an explanation on how the automatic line feed system is supposed to work on this model. Mine won't feed. Brand new out of the box. So I still didn't get my question answered 😢
Wonderful presentation I am a female do most of my own yard work to save money. I just need to know how to feed the string out once it gets too short. There has to be an easier way.Help
It feeds out automatically every time you release the on/power switch. The trick is balancing between keeping it running to not feed too much string, or running the battery out by leaving it running. It makes you work fast and efficiently. I can do my medium sized yard with battery to spare while suing minimal string at the same time. I just purchased one today, otherwise I’d have answered sooner.
Is this the older platform? I think craftsman had 20v and changed it to v20 or vice versa and of course the batteries are not interchangeable. I’m thinking the old one was like black and decker, newer one is like dewalt. I don’t know. I miss the old school real craftsman stuff from the 1990s.
