Hey Wade of All Trades, that's a nice Hammer Drill you got there buddy! I love it! But hey next time you should use Irwin Speedbor Max bore drill bit, when I started using Irwin I loved it and I ditched my Bosch dare devil spade bits. Irwin's Speedbor Max is so fast and creates a clean bore.
I'm looking to get one of these to replace the brushed one, Model CMCD700. I bored 7- 2 1/8" holes in 3/4" plywood and smoked it. Seized up tight. Hope this one can handle such things better. This was all the drill was used for. Lost the receipt, So no warranty.
Try reaching out to Craftsman on social media, you might be able to get them to help you anyways. So far this drill has really impressed me, I even used it to drill some holes in the ice for ice fishing and it performed better then my Bosch.
Unfortunately we do not have the Craftsman brand in Brazil. I have a Stanley V20 model SCD711c2k. Doing some research, I found out that Stanley does not sell the side belt clip for my machine model. I know that the Craftsman side clip fits my model perfectly. Would you not send me a clip like the one on your machine as a gift?🤔🇧🇷
Stanley Balck and Decker purchased the Craftsman power tool brand most likely that is why. Where can you purchase the Stanley drill? I haven’t seen that one.

hey Wade!!please help! i have the exact same model but the chuck got stuck.. should i replace the chuck or can it be fixed? could you provide a link for a replacement chuck because i'm afraid i might order the wrong model. thanks!
It’s capable of drilling steel for sure. Steel is all about keeping the bit cool with lubrication and getting a quality bit. Get the best bit you can find, use lubrication and test different speeds and you should have no trouble!
