Don't handle these Ramset guns carelessly like in this video. They will fire that nail right through you like a bullet. People have been killed by these things behind walls when it shot the nail through the wall. Handle them like you'd handle a loaded firearm because that's basically what they are.
One of the characteristics of silicone is that NOTHING will stick to it once it dries. The fixes mentioned herein will last for a while if it is totally undisturbed but don't wash it or handle it in any way. It will peel off !!
So I did this fix and I used 2 2w 51 ohm resistors and it worked for 10 seconds, then it got super hot and turned off again… what did I do wrong… should I go with 1watt instead?
at minute 8:06 you stripped the hole.... put volume up and listen to the drill spin freely on that screw.... why didnt you say anything about that? lol
Hey, thanks for the video! Does the smoothing tool/finger push the caulk into the fount and seal it better? If you can lay a clean bead, is the tool/finger swipe still necessary?
What a dilemma. I've seen countless suggestions just like this all across the Internet already, but I'm afraid to even start taking things apart myself. I have a great way of screwing things up worse than they were before I started. I know it's a 'cheap fix', but the dilemma is, the Toyota dealerships will charge upwards of $900 just to 'remedy' this very same problem. 😕
We have the gear to work on surface mount electronics at my office, once under the microscope, it was just cold solder joints!! I bet for most people if you just reheat the connections and add a bit more solder there’s no need to replace the parts. You just need the super fine tip on your iron.
I am so grateful for your video. I am electronically challenged and was very nervous to try this. But your instructions were so clear and easy to follow. And it WORKED! Thank you thank you
its Designed that way to protect the battery you get that one every cordless impact Metabo DeWalt Milwaukee its made that way for a reason on every detent ring is weak that is why your supposed to replace it every year on every impact and PS that is engineered in Germany and made by a German Company called Hazet and is actually one of the better bult lines of cord les tools all there cordless tools are made by Hazet a Premium Brand ..........I own Metabo Milwaukee and Snap on and they all have the same issues as the Maximum your pointing out so do your home work before doing a Review
Happy homeowner her, diy er of projects I should be....I was always under the impression that the whole point of tap con's was that you just screwed em right into the concrete. As expensive as they are if I'm drilling holes then why would I use something that costs 10 times as much as the anchor and screw set
Do you need to fill out a 4473 for that tool? Probably won't sell one to someone convicted of a crime punishable by more than a one year sentence... even if they got a shorter sentence like probation.
Unfortunately we do not have the Craftsman brand in Brazil. I have a Stanley V20 model SCD711c2k. Doing some research, I found out that Stanley does not sell the side belt clip for my machine model. I know that the Craftsman side clip fits my model perfectly. Would you not send me a clip like the one on your machine as a gift?🤔🇧🇷
I bought this driver a couple of months ago and couldn't believe the power vs my old B&D drills (cordless and corded). My only "however" has nothing to do with Craftsman, but with impact drivers in general - they're almost too powerful. I'm driving screws in too far and rounding off heads and bits like crazy. A torque-limiting chuck on a drill is much better for ham-fisted idiots like me.. However, in favour of impact drivers: they are an unbeatable demolition/deconstruction tool.
You did a nice job but I think you should always use a treated 2x4 for your bottom plate to avoid rot. I like tapcons better simply because there is more control. Sometimes ram set blows the concrete apart.
