great video! I remember one time when I was trying to remove a fuel line and I was really close to it because I could not see properly as it was dark, and when the fuel line came of some fuel squirted into my mouth and eyes. kinda reminds me of my ex

I just replaced all the fuel lines, including the primer bulb along with a new fuel filter according to your instructions. Put everything back together, started her up and she's putting out white smoke. I don't know if the mixture is bad (I followed the directions there too) or if the carburetor is shot. I know in my prior comments I said that I had purchased a new carb. Well, as it turned out, I had to send it back because Amazon sent the wrong one so I thought that I would give the old one a try. Now I am wondering what the "real" problem might be since I have never done this before. Please let me know what you think is wrong. I really appreciate your input. Thanks in advance.

I can't get the filter to go back in the hole with the new fuel line, is there a specific kit for this? Thanks so much for making this.

Wish I had watched this before changing fuel lines on my TroyBilt trimmer (which looks like the Craftsman). Stupid me took the carb off. Not sure if I got it back on just right and will not run. Tries to crank but will not stay running. Do you have a carb repair video? At least now after watching this video I can make sure the lines are ran to right connections. Thanks.

changing the lines helped, but mine was leaking high pressure exhaust gas back past the reed valve. Bubbles in the fuel line and poor performance. throwing it out.

Great video it help me a lot. I just have a question. The return line that goes from fuel tank that goes to the long end of the primer is that suppose to pump air or fuel into the primer ?? Because on my weedeater the return line goes into the fuel tank from the top instead on the bottom like yours

Thanks for the video. I chose the largest diameter fuel line, but despite this the fuel leaks where the fuel line comes out of the fuel tank. Fuel tank at the top is a bad design. Is there any way to fix this fuel leak? (Fuel line is fairly snug but despite this a small amount of fuel gets out....both out of the hose connected to fuel filter and the other fuel expel line from purge bulb. Thanks.

I just put a bigger hose in mine and just let the hose roll over at the tank the filter is laying at the bottom of the tank

I have this same weedeater. Any idea where to get a replacement trim guard cover down by the trimmer line? Mine broke off and isn't repairable. Cover has been discontinued.

So the question I have is where can I find parts for this weed wacker I have the same exact one I need the end piece where the trimmer line goes into it. I have the outside piece but it's missing the inside piece but what is that unit called I tried looking online and couldn't find any parts I can't even find a model number or serial number on the unit

Before I throw out my weedeater, I may remove the fuel filter. I bought it as part of an Amazon kit. I think its exit hole seemed smaller, but not sure. It could be restricting fuel entering the carburetor. May just run it without since I will pitch it out if it doesn't work.

Thank you for this video. I too everything a part to repair my weed wacker and it still did not work. I had gas coming out of my muffler. Now I have to go back and start again. Hopefully following your steps will help out. I should have found you earlier.
