Hes civil on donnie and dhali. When hes on any other program, he does have the tendency to look down on the canucks every chance he gets. To me, theres a reason why he isnt in a nhl club.
@@Hawks12the difference was one cross check landed on McDavid. The rules are different for the stars (not named Hughes) they pretend like it’s not true but it is. They are going to go full radio silence on it and wait till people forget.
Then NHL is corrupt. They want to serve the Vegas gamblers and make the Stars or Avs face an inferior team with no depth, defense or goaltending like the hapless oilers.
I don't mind the fact that we got a one-game suspension for the cross check to the face but there is a lot of other calls that got missed that should have had some sort of repercussions to them as well so all I can say is that's hockey
Soucy tried to hit the chest. So intent wasnt there. Hyman should have got suspended as well if thats the case. If it was anyone else wxcept mcdavid, soucy wouldnt have gotten suspended
Button is a pretty nice guy, honestly, but the way he acts on this show compared to everywhere else is crazy. He literally talks crap about the Canucks on every other program, and suddenly he’s in the Vancouver market, and he’s trying to be all nice. Don’t fall for it.
McDavid doesn't have to be responsible for his stick. Zach Hyman doesn't have to be responsible for his stick. Never had a reason to dislike Button till he cried about Soucey while ignoring Hyman's crosscheck, McHighstick, the slewfoots, spears, even ignoring Bennett's sucker punch on Marchand. Like come on.. might as well put on your Oilers jersey while you're on TV at this point.

I, too, am surprised that the Hyman cross-check wasn't brought up. Button in particular has been advocating for heavy sanctions against any hits to the head for quite some time, as far as I'm aware. Would have been interesting to get his perspective.

you have to be responsible for your stick unless you are connor mc jesus or zack hystick. i remember as a kid going to english bay in the 50's and for 30 cents you got 2 pieces of cod and a mountain of fries wrapped in 3 pages of the vancouver sun, and 5 cents for a coke. we'd swim till we were starving then go to the fish and chip stand. fish and chips still my go to meal when i eat out. now it's $30. c'est la vie.

Terrible interview, if Craig is so biased against the Canucks it is D&D's job to hold him accountable for the ridiculous stuff he says : - When he is talking about how Soucy has to be suspended, Donny should have brought up the million other things in NHL that were worse and not suspended for - Why does Craig not know what 3rd string means - Starting the backup goalie shows "Conviction" wtf does that even mean?
