Hi Craig! I 100% agree with the viewer that suggested a video about the day-to-day running of an entertainment agency. I have a small agency and will keep begging to get into your gold level, just so that I can learn about how you do it. Heck, I will even pay for a once of call if you want! Hey Craig, Didn't had questions the last couple of weeks but now I do so im back! 1. You do a lot for the magic community and for the kids in it. Is it an idea that you come up with a magic kit? The starting fundamentals in magic by Craig Petty : With things like a good svengali deck not the ali express type but bicycle, Hot rod, little steel cups (Like steel shot glasses) for the cups and balls, et cetera. You know a lot of routines per prop when you look at your gigantic projects with 8 hours of tutorials. Im sure you can create a magic kit where there are more hours of tutorial then bucks the set will cost. I like your thoughts on this. 2. Last weeks you put out some really interesting videos! One of them was working with penguin magic and i really love that! The most of us never release a trick but are interested in that business part of magic. You also asked which company next? I think the 2 most logic ones are Alakazam and Murphy's Maybe you can even have Peter or Lloyd in a little interview style video add information to it. 3. What do you think is the top 5 best magic products of 2024 so far? If you ask me in random order : Liam Levanon - Ishihara test, , Steve Gore & Gregory Wilson - The Casino Con, Matthew Wright & Mark Bennett - Dead Mans Hand, Thomas Badar - Jupiter Craig Petty - Magic Button (I think a lot of people look over it because i don't see or hear a lot of people about it) Keep doing the good work! Question: when selling products after a lecture at conventions in different countries, should the price of the tricks be the same everywhere or should it change depending on where you are because a country might be cheaper or more expensive then another one and also the expenses change to get stuff to different countries?
Hi Craig, I really love your Apparition Coin set, it looks so magical, great product. But I have one problem: There is a smalll sound when the "special item" hits the purse. In a normal environment with people talking or music playing this is not a problem, but do you have any tips on performing Apparition in a quiet environment when everybody is focused on you or even 1 on 1? Hi Craig, Hope your well. I've just got back from my holiday in Spain and I'm catching up with all your videos from the week. They have really motivated me to get back into the swing of magic after being away from it for a week. My questions: 1. I'd really like to start doing some more gigs for experience. I have done a few care homes in my local area, but at most of them, there has been someone I know (family member) who works there and therefore it gives all the staff a biased opinion on me and most of the time I'm treated as relative of worker doing magic rather than a magician. I'd like to do things where people don't know me, but don't quite feel ready to start paid gigs. Where are the best places to start and how do I approach these places? 2. I'm doing an unpaid gig at the end of the month (where everyone there knows me) and I wondered if you had any advice on my sets. I'm doing walkaround in which I'll take a normal deck of cards, Imagine, Zoltar's Opener, Toxic and MindBlox. I will alternate between 2 sets: The first being Zoltar's Opener, Imagine and Toxic and the second set will be Imagine and then the main routine from MindBlox. I will also be doing a 10 minute set in front of everyone, which I plan on starting with the finger mind reading effect that Nemed does, then doing I'm Still Leaping from The Netrix and closing with a celebrity prediction using a baby gag from an envelope which was given out at the start. 3. Hi Craig, I hope you and your family are well in spite of the recent new lows in toxicity in the magic community. I wanted to tell you that one answer in a Q&A about two months ago helped me a lot in clarifying my performance character. "Collector of strange and interesting stuff" seems to be the perfect character for me. I am now trying to build a repertoire which suits this character. You recommended "Chroma" by Mark Lemon, which is great. I also think that "Keymaster" is excellent, because key blanks are strange and interesting. The Okito box, the Penrose pendant, Evoke, Infinity deck or another picture deck, magic button, haunted key - I think all these will work really well. If you have other suggestions for "strange and interesting stuff", please share them - but as I said, you already helped a lot.
My Lux definitely deteriorated. I kept it on my keychain as recommended on the tutorial. It quickly got scratched up. Then the button got stuck. Unfortunate as I love the effects you can do! I will probably eventually pick up a new one.
I own PI revelations by D.Penn I don't have an Iphone. Alot of ppl said I could use the Icalc Download and it would work but it shows the inputs in small numbers under the large number. You can see the force number and the equation. A scientific Calculator was recommended but it doesn't look normal and seems to me looses the organic nature of the trick. Is there someone who could help me with this issue? I love the main routine. How do I do it without an Iphone?

Well i from personal expeirnce can confirm that is not true at all because i asked both craig and ryland thier opion on the ID kicker by david penn and they both said its bad even though criag is very good friends with david meaning whoever left that comment is compltley wrong
Hey Craig great show as always, whilst i remember i have to say what a great co host you were on the new Stixx release by Eric Stevens. You asked all the right questions and knew when to be quiet, people don't realise how important a co host's job is. I have a couple of questions for you, sometime ago you mentioned following Matts muggle to magician series that you were considering doing a project with Matt joining the magic circle, is this still going to happen ? Having just passed my magic circle audition i think other magicians might find this interesting. Also whilst i know the wallet you plan to release isn't for a while, if it includes a CTW feature will this feature a none slide method making it more practical ?
