neoprene gets warmer the wetter the glove, i paid about £50 for a set about 20 years ago still have them and still use them. I was sea fishing back then and they worked a treat Neoprene is used on divers suits to keep warm but I do prefer skin tight to lock a layer of water against the skin. Not sure that floppy glovers will work. I would invest in a quality pair that fit well :)

I have the velcro on the fingers pair they arnt too warm when it's cold out..

I looked at these the the other day. did not like the fit around the palms
