hey mate just bought one of these recently but i’m really new to fishing and can’t seem to figure out how to put the bobble thing on can you maybe make a video showing how? thanks
Hi, yea I have actually made a video on how to add the bobber to the line you can find it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-anQ2qjER8Ps.html
The string thing is a stringer it’s a American thing they tread the line though the gill plates and out through the mouth of the fish caught and hang them back in the water to keep them fresh alive whilst fishing. Tight lines
Thanks for letting me know I had no idea I thought it might be a special needle to make a fishing net. Not sure why they include it for the UK market totally unnecessary.
Great for kids and your not getting much for 9.99 when a decent rod and reel your talking 300 to 500 and upwards for high end makes less than pizza bargain
On the positive side phil, add some mackerel/ragworm bait or some dexter wedge lures and the holidaying seasider could catch plenty of fish on that outfit from piers, breakwaters and rock marks around the Uk. Ok most of the outfit isn't much use for anything else and sooner rather than later, it is going to get thrown in the bin but for £10 and for that one specific purpose it's a bargain!
I can confirm that my son and I got these rods to try the sport before investing heavily, the first time we mostly caught seaweed but we're going out again today on the coast
@@PhillWyattFishing we definitely had a lot of issues our first time out. No tangling issues today but no nibbles either lol. We'll definitely be investing in better gear for next season
I always enjoy these vids. I don't know why manufacturers bother putting line on cheap reels. It's generally poor & puts off beginners. I suspect some decent line would make that reel usable for a year. Otherwise that's a great kit for a tenner. Incidentally, I've already seen those £15 Lidl fishing rods on Marketplace for £20 😂.
