Love my CB pedals! Been using them for years! I’ve had my Candy 3’s since 2015. Just rebuilt them and they’re like brand new again. Don’t know why a lot of people have beef with CB. I hated my Shimano pedals.

Top review Guy,pleased to hear you like Crank Bros pedals,your opinion means a lot,and I can fully concur,Crank Bros Eggbeater pedals are superb,I've been riding on them for years,the mud clearance is in my opinion the best out there.I've got the 11Ti's,a bit expensive,granted,but you can service them so easily and they just last forever.The other plus point is I've never suffered from problem knees either,and I put this down to using quality pedals.The customer care you get from Crank Brothers is also first class.....lol,listen to me,anyone would think I'm on commission,but I wouldn't go back to using anything else.

Like the workroom.A bit like my shed .looks like a gift shop in a turd museum. I have been using a one flat pedal and shoe and one cleat and shoe on other side for a year now on Levo .Weird but logic and gives me total confidence to attempt any feature or trials section without thinking about my feet. Nice work keep Safe.

I run the shoe shields from CrankBrothers instead of the little plastic spacer. While intended for protecting the bottom of carbon shoes, I like them for the feeling and positive feedback when clipping in. Setup at the moment is Giro Chamber II with the Easy Release Cleats (6 Degrees of float, 10 degrees release), Paired with the shoe shields on Mallet-E LS Pedals.

Am I the only person who notices that the subtitles on these videos are ace....ive never seen a single one that actualy has Guys name correct...today for example Guys name is gas turbine!!.. its evey video and its different every time and its ace.lol lol... Love the channel by the way😉

Great review! I’ve only ever used flats but am thinking of converting over to the clipped system. The mallets are very nice. On a slightly different topic, Do you rate the Giro Terradura shoes to go along with the mallets ? Thanks Guy

I can’t go with any other pedals on my MTB. Been riding the Mallet Es for the last 4 years. If you can get over the bushes disintegrating at light speed there really isn’t a better pedal on the market for feel. I reckon I go through a pedal refresh kit about every 8 months with a new pedal purchase thrown in every two years. That being said, there’s not a lot that can withstand North York Moors winter riding. All that sand!

Hi Guy do you use the egg beaters for gravel riding too?

A good few years back I went through a couple of pairs of Candy's ... these had the tendancy of pulling the body off the bearings .... have they resolved this issue as I liked the feel, but hated the durability and have not opted to try them again.
