Thank you for sharing your journey with us I am currently looking to open up a fish store as well but wasn’t sure we’re to start. I now have a idea thanks to you. I wish you the greatest of luck !
Some sweet Anglefish. I do love those angelfish and they don't seem to get as much love as they should and a few more varieties than when I used to have angels and such. Very nice.
Always happy to see your videos! Glad to see those Super Reds are doing so well ❤️ (want! 🤗) I was happy to hear you mention the temperature of your fish room and the use of heaters 🤔. There's been a lot of scuttle-butt in the groups that this can't be done. I keep my mouth shut! 🤫 I have 20 tanks in my bedroom ~ the heater is in the kitchen. Only my female bettas have heaters because of cold spots in the room. We all stay nice and cozy!! (Can you imagine all the wires for 20 heaters running all over the room? 😲 And one big gas heater is a lot cheaper!) Thank you!
I am currently thanking god that my blue blushers (or someone) ate their 10 billion eggs. But, the harlequin rasboras that I'm trying to breed won't even look at each other.
You must be incredibly busy. This long-awaited video definitely worth the wait. Beautiful angelfish. Best wishes for success with your store; looking forward to those videos!
If your store is anything like your amazing fish room then I'm sure it will be a great success.Love your videos and look forward to seeing your store tours when you post them. The amount of work you must be putting in to start your store while maintaining the fish room is a real credit to you and I wish you every success with it.You deserve it.Good luck.
Beautiful angels and those tuxedo guppies I spied look fantastic. Wishing you all the best with the new store. I think it’s going to be a smashing success! 👍
@@fishboy1415 you’re very welcome. I’m the one who spoke to you on the phone from the store...I absolutely love the way it’s set up! Ended up buying 3 discus (I usually buy from Hans so when I saw the sigh....) and some plants. I believe you’re going to have great success there 😊👍
I love this channel. Such a well kept fish room with such high quality healthy fish. It is the perfect showcase for what I’m sure will be a premium fish store. Can’t wait to see it. Best wishes from 🇬🇧 Warren
So great to see your uploads again! But even more excited for your progress with the store, so please don’t feel obligated to do updates. Love seeing angels, though-I recently picked up a gorgeous pair of pinoy blues myself.
Best of luck with the new store. Very good culture on the angels, just like rest of your stock. My prejudice is to only raise naturally nurtured fry. Used to do double darks. Next Rio Nanay from Angels Plus since his water is similar to mine.
We have a lot off . Angelfish. There soo beautiful..and we have soo tiny little fish 🐟 . But we have a massive fish aquarium. We do have one Room for. the aquarium... soo glad l found this.. video..
Your Philippine Blues pair are both +/g at the Dark locus, so 25% of the fry are g/g with would be gold but with two doses of the philippine blue gene (pb/pb) are platinum
Great to see your follow up! Can’t wait to see the store! Best of luck with the opening! Regarding conditioning new tanks - do you ever just bring a seasoned sponge filter from an established tank? To prep for a new tank, I’ll intentionally put an extra sponge filter into an old tank to season it for a month or two and then use it in a new tank.
Great video. I would like certainly listen to you over people in the comments. 😉Can't wait to visit the store. Have you told us where it is yet? I'm in NJ too so hopefully near me. Waiting for 1 of your Phillipine Blues.
Hi what do you feed the baby fry. My platinums are all just laying at the bottom of the tank, they are over 1 month old and they only swim up when I feed them baby brine shrimp.
oh i have watched it..... are you using ro water? also if you are not lucking enough to have auto water change system, how often should you do a water change? how big of a wated change, how many times do you use methalane blue for the eggs. i use hydro peroxide. what temp. do you keeo the fry at?
Oh, might want to consider some blue or preferably black construction paper between the tanks, help those angels out on their aggression between those tanks.
Can too much hardness affects guppies breeding? i have about 420ppm or 23dGH. I had my guppies for months now and they dont spawn. I have no plants in the tank and every other day water change. I also quarantine the fish the day i got them using the med trio method. Hope you can help me. Thank you
Yes today's angels are nice looking but from poor fin selection and lackluster culling have reduced dorsal fin height by half thus giving us our current representation of angels- a thick body with short dorsal, caudal and antennae(which optimally should be much longer than the causal. An example of a true angelfish is bred from Simon Forkel. Baby angelfish need at least 4ft of tank height from the stage of free swimming to even have a chance of proper growout.
just looking at your angels beautiful they dont seem to fight i only have 4 then 1 dies the other 3 always fighting so now they are kept on their own i really want to breed them any suggestions please thanks
Sexing angels will become second nature once you know what you're looking for. I still use shape of the heads and watching for breeding tubes. Males will always be small and pointed like a triangle while female tubes will be more cylindrical and long looking. For giggles where will this store be located at? Keep up the good work! Always enjoy your videos and that amazing fish room!
I’m trying to get some beautiful ones like you got! Do you have any Angels for sale. I love the blues, koi’s and other! Please let me know if you are still sale or have any more! Please let me know!!!
Able to help me out? Ive got 4 pairs in seperate tanks. Everytime they spawn I take the eggs out into a 80 degree Fahrenheit tank. Add methylene blue. 2nd day I do pretty much 90% water change to remove the blue. Eggs hatch. Fry turn to wigglers. Then just about when fry are about to free swim they all die off.... Its been like over 10 unsuccessful spawns for me. Any help would be truly appreciated!
hello can the parents raise another batch to free swimmers while having their previous free swimmer in the tank? will the 2 week old free swimmers eat the wigglers/eggs? will the parents freak out and their their elder free swimmers to protect their new batch? thanks
