Hey man, it’s funny when u show yourself but can explain wat your doing! That is a talented machine tool process ur carrying out! By experimenting n with experience, i know we align de two crank pins b4 grinding for sure.
Nature Boi, I started at the shop when I was 13 I'm gonna be 52 in December but ive only been grinding for 20/25 years. We grind camshafts as well. Thanks for the comment!
@@cyranox90 first you rough set the spindle and the tail stock (centers) offsets. Then you place the crankshaft between the centers and fine adjust it (machine turned off). But be careful to not over tighten the chucks and adjust one side too far. It can cause binding and coudame the crankshaft and possibly the machine.
@@cyranox90 It might be. But as a machinist I can substitute for similar preexisting tools in the shop for the same purpose. High precision measuring tools needs regular calibration and maintenance. Also proprietary measuring tools can cause the job to be delayed if something happens to them or if you purchased a used machine with damaged tools.
All I can do is laugh there's always taper there's always run out you could be God and there was Dobby Caper and run out you have to know that RU-vid is fuck up
@bb21again.67 for one thing the machine centers are off !! The two journals should line up without adjustments/ #2 he's sweeping the journals! That's a no no!! By sweeping it causes a taper. You want more?
