There are times with big fish and jigs 1/80 and smaller you may lose some slabs with a bad hook set. But overall you will catch more with micro jigs and baits imo.

Need some help please. I am seeing a lot of top water activity near the bluegill spawn. I cant' seem to get fish to bite anything. Any lure suggestions? should I use a top water fly? Thank you for your instruction.
