That was a neat measuring device to check the crappie lengths. Another successful day even though it was cold and breezy. The young man was all worn out after fishing and a warm meal. Great memories once again.
Awesome fishing guys. Your crappie videos are my favorite. Now with the little guy it is even more entertainment. Thanks for the videos guys. Cheers from across lake Erie ,Windsor Ontario.
Awesome outing guys! Nonstop crappie action on those micro jigs - great when a plan works out! Hard to beat fresh crappie fried to perfection - YUM! Thanks for sharing and tight lines! Captain Zac
That is a great way to catch crappies. Me and my dad always used a jig and bobber back in the day. Bring back many memories. Don't be surprised using this technique you'll lible to catch multiple species. Coat them filets in batter and let them swim in grease. No skunkin.
Great video as always! Been a few years since I’ve fished there. Do you know when in the year they stop allowing fishing there? Thinking I’d like to get a few crappie myself this weekend.
Great vid, Bill! Question for you tho. I am planning on goin down there this week as it’s been a while since I’ve fished over there at the marina. Is there a nearby bait shop or am I bringing minnows with me from Buffalo?
@@BillMikesAnglingAdventures Hey Bill, thanks. I actually got some emeralds here in Buffalo and decided to stop at Hogans as well to see if they had flatheads and they did, so got some there as well. Forgot about that place lol. Did pretty well, nothing spectacular, just had some fun with the crappies. A lot of big bass roaming around as well.
