Due to high water, I've been forced to either stay home and cut grass or try my luck fishing a place I'm not familiar with. This morning I am in Gulf Shores, Alabama fishing an area called Little Lagoon. My target was speckled trout, redfish and flounder, but I'll be happy with anything I catch.

Good stuff chip! I clearly remember catching ALOT of trout and flounder in turtle ditch with your dad and my dad.

Great Video. What time of year was that? We are going to stay on little lagoon the week after the 4th of July and was just curious how the fishing will be that time of year in the lagoon.

That was in late June or early July. If you're going to be in the area catch a blue or lady fish on the beach and put it on a nice size circle hook. The sharks are really thick right now. There's a lot of sharks you can catch on your bass or catfish spinning rod. Spanish will be running too. Hope y'all catch a bunch!
