I like the new boat. Pretty fancy mud motor. I have been refinishing the inside of my Alweld 14’ jon boat after 4 years of use. I had installed a marine grade plywood deck when it was new, but it needed repainting. I was thinking about covering it with that Sea Deck stuff, but after your comments im glad i didnt. I also installed new Millenium seats, the old ones i had didnt hold up very well. So in a few more days i should be ready to go. In the shallow lakes i fish they really have no place to go in the hot weather except under the weeds. I think its just a question of them deciding when to bite. My first trip last year was Oct 22, and they were willing to bite pretty well. But i was forced to quit in April due to the water being too low to launch my boat. Hopefully that wont happen again this year. Tacos looked good, but i think ill just try them at home. lol Years back i did lots of Walleye shore lunches in Quebec every year, and they were very special. We would just drop the fillets in a plastic bag with 50/50 bread crumbs and corn meal, and then into a cast iron pan with the hot oil. I do my Crappies the same way, and they are (almost) as good as those Walleyes. No lakeside shore lunches here in Florida however. lol

Do you or have you in the past used jig heads with an underspin blade? Have you noticed it makes any difference in number of strikes?

You do the kind of fishing I do here in s c and lake kissemee in January. That's why I look all your videos.

Hope you can get enough ties to where you can sell them. Need special ties for us north FL guys. I have gotten jigs from jim porter and pops but they are both more for clear water.

Love the videos, i fish offshore and in the gulf alot. I recently picked up a jon boat and been fishing the Withlacoochee so i love learning the fresh water side of this area. Brent let me know if you want to do an offshore trip sometime.
