also, a product has to be 98% natural to be considered natural, so if she is using 6% FO load, then the soap is only 94% natural and cannot be labeled as such
basic ingredients and she makes ridiculous claims about her soaps. in the soap groups, she even lied about her shampoo bars being PH balanced with they had just regular soap base ingredients
I don’t know if it’s just me but when I get a bar soap or anything like that, I really don’t want it to be extremely fragrant. I want to smell it, but I don’t want it to hurt my nostrils.
This lady must think everybody is brain dead. Does she not realize she's 1 of many cold processed soap companies out there, she acting like she's the only cold processed maker out there
Yeah no, I can’t justify spending $15- $20 for a bar of soap. Especially when all these other great companies I could get like at least 10 bars for the price of maybe 4 from them after shipping. Screw that.
Gary, give Arm Bar Soap Company a shot. They market their soaps as after-training Jiu Jitsu soap bars intended to ward off unwanted bacteria, but don't be fooled, they are regular soap bars with simple additives like Tea Tree Oil and other natural odor/bacteria fighters. I think they're fantastic. Vanilla Gorilla was a favorite of what I tried.
Oh man I've been waiting for this video! I saw your comment on Marco's video about this brand and I knew a video was coming abouy this. Lets just say I'll never be trying this brand for sure. This video is absolutely hilarious though 🤣
LMAS. I like tea tree and buy a brand called Dessert Essense. Squat is very overpriced at $9 per bar now. Their deodorant is now $12. They keep expanding their product line. Their gimmick is they want people to try all 50 bar scents. Add that total combined price Not a way to stretch a dollar. On another note, I found Yardley London and also Natural Sense castile 5 oz bar at Dollar Tree for $1.25 each,. Terrific values. Also Dr. Bronner Castile soap is about $5 in most stores. They have a tea tree soap scent as well.
Does the fact that she lives in New York that’s a personal problem she wanted to be a soap maker she can’t say she’s better than Dr. scratch that. Praise herself way too expensive. I never bought I’ve seen him.
i wonder about one thing SOAP its not prefume, in your "documentary" you moan about scent and then you compere with dr squatch (great intesive smells ) it seams that its all you know about soaps
What are you talking about? If you had watched the entire video, then you would've known that he wasn't comparing to only one soap company. He was using other companies who produce the same product at a higher quality with lower prices. why are you talking about Dr Squatch anyway? You are aware that the woman who made a response to Gary made the comparison herself as well? The fact that this woman decided to make a natural soap bar and soak it in fragrance oil and consider that to be a satisfactory product is not the fault of the consumer. There is no effort that goes into it. She must have believed that just purchasing high-quality products without any mind of how to mix them properly would be good enough. she started to talk about fragrance oil, which is definitely not good for the body and it's not a good substitute for creating actual nice scents, And contradicting her own point by saying that the soap bars are extremely healthy. She was very unprofessional as well by giving a full essay explanation to the customer of how he's "oh so wrong" because he dared to question the very questionable methods of sales and business practises. In the email, she went on an entire rant about how it's so difficult to produce soap at such a quality And about different costs in the business. This woman was nothing but arrogant and prideful. If you believe Gary was so wrong then explain what he doesn't know about soapmaking that makes your point valid. Not to mention, she even acknowledged the fact that her listing on her own website was confusing to the consumer, and yet despite taking his advice, refused to provide any shred of compensation. whether through sending new samples/products, or providing a refund. Watch the video next time
Bro this chick thinks her soap is the best on the earth, her ingredients are no different then others companies, I bought a few bars last year and honestly it wasn't anything special, so for her to charge what she charges is just flat out crazy. I always tell people to stop buying her soap. She thinks because she hand makes everything she's special
But bro, under the quarter law and the United States if somebody put a picture of something, I have to be exactly that that you received so basically you can get her for false advertisement or showing a picture of something that you thought you were going to receive and you never got
I’ve tried this soap company and it’s wonderful! The only soap that has helped my eczema and skin issues- it is expensive but they use a high concentration of olive oil which makes it different from others that use much more coconut and palm (like Dr Squatch which I’ve also tried). Both are good products- but I do think hers is more quality and they are generally amazing with customer service too!
I’m sorry but that whole email spiel was way uncalled for 😅 no customer cares about your life’s story and groveling when they’re upset about a product they got from your company. That’s not good customer service.
@cyberbobjay6607 if you didn't notice he didn't share how many emails in this thread was. Jsut the cherry picked ones he wanted to show and croped and edited to show his narrative. Remember this is the internet all screen shots cna be fakes or altered to suit a narrative
@hinatahyuuga120 there were no other email correspondences between the owner and I; i knew it was usless to reply at that point, so, I made a video instead. Yes, people can put fake things on the internet, but that doesn't mean everything on the internet is fake. This letter from her is authentic and the reason it's cropped is so the viewer can read along; had I tried to cram the entire letter into one single frame, then it would be impossible to read... So, you think I "faked" this letter? lol. Ok, so let me ask WHY would I fake a letter like that? What's my motive? Did I pick out BOV b/c that company is going to help advance my channel in some way? lol. I have reviewed dozens of other companies, and not made a video like this about any of them...so why did I choose BOV to "fake" this correspondence with? I didn't even know the owners name was Debra until she sent this email.
@elizag Also, if you google "Bentonville Milk Block Soap Company" go to their site and click on the "Specialty Soaps/Products" box and they also have an Oils & Herbs raw oil mix that will do wonders for your skin! *They also have it available in a soap bar, go to the "XL Milk Block Soaps" box and it will be on that page. *And they also have these butter block bars that are also really good for your skin; go to the "Ultra Nourishing Butter Blocks" box. Check them out!
