Hey Bryan! This video is a must-see for anyone serious about dice setting and tossing the dice correctly. One thing I would recommend also is to keep an open mind. You never know what you're going to discover as you learn these techniques. I definitely see where Howard got a lot of his influences, having watched Beau Parker's videos, and the Golden Touch Craps videos. They've been very influential on my development as a dice shooter. This video has given me ideas on how to take my game to the next level. Awesome video!
I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Howard on a 7 Day dice cruise western caribbean. Learned a lot & had some good rolls 1st few days. Such a down to earth guy and very personable
I'm not a big tech guy ,so I hope this reaches you. After practicing your suggestions I just had a 17 roll session at a casino in Pennsylvania. Ended up $1500.00. Thank you so much
Bryan, You killed that SkeeBall toss. The underhand toss. A good instructor can quickly get you on track no matter how good you become I truly believe it is worth it to have someone with Howard's skill look at you yearly. I want to go to the NEXT level.
I loved seeing you guys working with Howard RocknRoller Newman! It' so much fun and you learn so much by spending a few hours with him! Thanks for the show!
Aloha, Mr. Money Shot, thanks for this informative video. Learned a lot and hopefully to take Howard's class when I visit Vegas again. Mahalo and May The Dice Be Nice!!!
Great video and editing MS! Really gets all the good stuff we got from the class with Howard. Excited to get to using all new tosses we learned! Highly recommend taking Howard's class for anyone who is a serious craps player. You will not be disappointed in Howard's teaching methods and his techniques.
This video shows importance in dice setting and you guys as a team willing to learn too which is sweet. Would love to see aggressive betting strategies to compliment dice setting like this. GL in the future.
I met Howard @ The Orleans a few years ago, completely randomly. He recognized my talent and gave me his card but I never hit him up. It'd be cool to play with him again some time though.
Awesome video a must see. learning from different positions is a must. I plan on taking a class from Howard in the future. thank you for all the hard work you guys do bringing us these Videos.
Great video! I leaned a lot by what was shown, and even a little by what was not shown! I doubt I'll ever have enough extra cash to pay for a class, but I love to learn!
@Duncan Donut Donut I'm sure you're one of the "There's no such thing as dice control" people. Cool 😎 keep that attitude. The more chicken feeders there are, the slower casinos are to change up their setups to make it harder for those of us who believe in a silly thing like physics. ✌️😏👍
@Duncan Donut Donut I am probably about even. I am in the wannabe category. I know a little, but I don't take it as serious as people who do it religiously. I know people who do it seriously and they win more than I do. It's a skill and it's not fool proof. But even the greatest ever at anything aren't undefeated. The best Major League pitchers don't throw no hitters every game. The best NFL quarterbacks don't go entire seasons without throwing an interception or incomplete pass. The same goes for dice controllers, even the best lose sometimes. And most people are casual controllers. Myself included.
...Wow another great video! Does Howard teach how to throw on different surfaces or how to adjust on these surfaces or does he teach to look for hard surface tables? Thank you again.... You are the true KING OF DICE!
My guys... This is such a great video. Yall are the best Craps RU-vid show out, including mine!!! I am going to have to get together with you guys this year. Great show guys
Hey Jacob we gotta coordinate and get play together hopefully in 2022. You have inspired much of my thinking in my strategies and I want to personally thank you for putting your thoughts out on your channel. You the man!
wonderful video; if it could be time-stamped that would be HUGE. Also what you learned ~34min in might be a nice teaser before you start the class part in the video. Mahalo!
Wow! That was an awesome video with one of the legendary craps shooter of all time! Sharing his knowledge of the different throwing techniques he has mastered must have been very enlightening. He’s like Obi-Wan Kenobi who has rubbed elbows with the great ones. Looking forward to seeing other Jedi masters like the Dominator?
My opinion is Dom is a few trick pony. Yes he has the throws no doubt but can he impart and teach others? Howard looks at each student and makes recommendations based on where they are at. Not everyone will do a parr toss. How about stacked? How about offset? Howard encourages the best in each student. Other instructors, not so much. Just my .02
Hi Money Shot, I have watched a few of the videos that you and the rest of your Hawaii Craps Shooters crew have created and posted. I enjoy the videos because are entertaining. This does not equate to believing all of the claims that are made in the videos. Yes you and your team have had some decent rolls but at the same time I have seen you have some very short rolls. I am going to share with you some of my own perceptions about dice control. I personally always set the dice with the two fives facing the top and the two ones facing me. I arrange the dice in this manner not because I believe I am controlling the outcome of the dice but simply like to see these two pairs of numbers. For no other reason. In fact you will see from my posting that I do not believe dice control is possible. I would welcome any feedback from your group or any individual after they have read my posting. After watching a few videos about dice control, I have come to the conclusion that individuals who endorse dice control have no comprehension of the concept of randomness. My comments on dice control hopefully will provide an understanding that dice control is not improbable but impossible. Some individuals stress the importance of maintaining the same axis on the dice when tossing them. It does not matter whether or not the same axis is maintained. There are so many other variables to consider in the toss: -how much force is used -how high the dice are tossed -where the dice strike the table before contacting the back wall -where the dice strike the back wall -which pyramid and which part of the pyramid each die strikes -where each die comes to rest -how many bounces and turns each die completes before coming to rest -how many chips the dice encounter -how firm/soft/bouncy is the table -etc. If a player is unable to control just one of these variables, he will be unable to practise dice control. In an attempt to convince others of the possibility of dice control, I would like to see just one proponent of dice control to create a video recorded in slow motion which documents the action of the dice on each toss I.e. record the results relating to all of the variables mentioned above I have a suggestion. Use two different coloured dice, one red and one green. Let’s make it even easier. Assume that on each toss, the red die always shows a five. Now the shooter simply has to control the green die and have it show any number other than a two to avoid the dreaded seven out. Conduct this experiment over many thousands of rolls to more closely simulate results due to probability and graph how often the seven appears. If a sufficient number of rolls are made, then the seven should appear in the ratio of once every six rolls. If the ratio is much less than 1:6 a player may insist that he is controlling the dice. However, remember in the example the red die is already fixed (controlled) by setting on it the five. I have watched videos in which after the creator of the video sevens out, he tries to explain the seven by claiming he did something wrong on the toss. Truly moronic behaviour. Remember Patricia Demauro? In May 2009 the grandmother played at the Borgota in Atlantic City and rolled the dice 154 times (over four hours) to set the record for the longest roll. Was she controlling the dice? No!!! This was only her second time to shoot craps. There will be short rolls and there will be long rolls. No one can predict whether a roll will be short or long. Only Lady Luck knows. Proponents of dice control are delusional.
@@HawaiiCrapsShooters That is true but only one side of the debate makes sense. Are you aware that there are millions of individuals who still believe the earth is flat - they call themselves "Flat Earthers." In light of all of the evidence to the contrary, they believe the earth is flat. It takes all kinds. Makes absolutely no sense!
moves fast??? have seen how long it takes sometimes for the shooter to get the dice back?! it can be minutes, which seems like forever when you're hot and want to keep the rolls going. the money flies around, for sure, which intimidates most beginners from ever putting money down to learn the game and let's face it, the worst thing at the craps table is when a rookie sticks their hand out to point at something and the dice hits their arms and 7's out!
I just tried rolling from center position with dice resting on the back board before throwing at Santa Fe Station and I hit all small and all tall..rolled for about 25mins..12 was the last number I needed and hit it..I was throwing with the hard way set..man that was so exciting…I had $15 on hit em all
Very skeptical of dice control/influence. From the studying I have done so far, I don't see the influence surviving the wall. That said, I would like to get a setup and put in 50-100k rolls in and see if it is plausible.
It's completely random no matter what anyone tries to say otherwise. My advice to winning at craps is to be in a happy mood when you walk up to the table and hopefully have your SO with you as well as the good luck karma is contagious. That said, I've been tossing the dice for 40 years, never set them and have cleared the tables at the old Stardust, South Point and the 4 Queens of chips to the point where they had to bring more to the table. The last time was in 2011 and my mom stood next to me the entire time (two hours plus) and she never put any money on the table and I asked her several times lol (she's gone now but her game was bingo and the slots).
@@HawaiiCrapsShooters Oh wow! I've never done a undertoss before, but just practiced it and hit four Hard 8's. Crazy. Might go to Casino Quest to practice on a normal table before hitting the real ones.
Once the dice hit the felt and start to tumble against the back wall, it becomes a random roll. If you slow motion the roll, each toss the dice are bouncing all over the place. There’s never one toss that is a controlled roll. A 7 will still show up on average every 6 rolls no matter what. It can not be manipulated.
This comment is for PJ. PJ, the dice are random as soon as they make initial table Contact . The pyramids, or tapping the smooth rubber portion beneath the pyramids is the final DEATH blow. There is no such thing as Dice Influencing, or Dice Control. There is ONLY Controlled Shooting, which is simply a STYLE of dice Tossing that allows the dice to softly tap the backwall with the dice staying closely cropped together, & not scattering all over the table. Some shooters are skilled at Controlled Shooting. MOST THINK they are skilled, but sadly……are NOT!!!! There are no guarantees, or predictive MONETARY values with Controlled Shooting. Controlled Shooting will NOT guarantee success. However, it does teach you to minimize dice Scatter ( if you’re any good at it) which could POSSIBLY give a Skilled Shooter the chance to have a few good hands! Smart betting, Money management, & knowing WHEN to walk TRUMPS Dice Influencing, Dice Control, & Controlled Shooting EVERY day of the week. When you teach a person Controlled Shooting, the very FIRST thing that you should tell your student/a is that it is more-so a “ Style” of tossing the dice with flair & Control, as opposed to giving a Shooter an advantage! Once THAT reality is THOROUGHLY understood by the potential student, it becomes THEIR decision as to IF they should proceed with instruction or NOT!! Ya gotta be honest about the Craft, allow your students to accept the REALITY that “ deft” looking tosses can/will SEVEN-OUT just like any other toss/s.
@@HawaiiCrapsShooters How can you expect your audience, your subscribers, and fans to pay for a class to improve their dice throws from an instructor (teacher) that intentionally hides the results of throws of his students before, during, and after his instructing to The Hawaii Craps Shooters as they play live on video during a dice control or dice influence tutorial. If we can’t see that an improvement was made in the players dice throws, with the dice not landing on 7 more often than the players throws before instructional corrections then wouldn’t you agree that we were just watching a 45 (more or less) minute infomercial that shows no proof of the sales pitch? Don’t get me wrong here. I like watching your videos (even though I’m against the public filming inside casinos), especially when the women play because they seem to have more roll counts and really get into the game. I don’t know what Howard charges but I remember being solicited around 2013 by a group of dice controllers in Vegas and they offered a weekend class for $500.00. I didn’t take them up on their offer. I was working too much overtime and I knew that it took practice and more practice to get the Rhythm of the throw down pat. I don’t have a Craps! Table and I’m many hours away from a casino. Your videos are well done and they are usually enjoyable to watch. Tell Howard to allow you to show the dice as they hit the table and land in their final position with the resulting number and do this during a video like this past one. He wouldn’t be giving away his secrets. He would be gaining the confidence of prospective clients. Thanks for listening. I just noticed a new video with Howard and I scanned across the hour+ video to see what’s up. It seems to be another infomercial.
@@samr.6182 Hi Sam, Thank you for your reply. If Howard gave all of his instructions on a video then no one would take his class. He offers valuable lessons. If you are looking more for credibility, his legacy has been written in many books and he is rated in the top 10 dice controllers ever. He has a proven reputation and I was skeptical myself but I can tell you as an experienced craps player, the lessons were very valuable.
Mr. Dice Magic-- See you this week Howard, ☯ Howard we did a Special "Dice Magic" tribute to you at the send of this clip, Enjoy, Miss Meghan says hello, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-igJgR2inQEA.html
I typically go pass line, max odds bet behind, buy the 4 & 10 and press the 6 & 8 until the cows come home. If you start with just $6 on the 6 or 8, and do full presses with a couple add ons, it only takes 7 rolls for it to be worth $1200 if/when it hits. People dont know and/or realize how much they are giving away by not maxing out the free odds bet behind their pass line bet. The House as 0% edge over the player on the free odds bet and some casinos allow anywhere from 3-10x odds.
I see that when the dice are released their fingers are spreading if keep them together they are most likely to land together.but it depends on the type of shot your doing.41 roll shot on craps champ channel five finger grip dice are held offset slightly.on a hard surface table not on axis.monster roll.give a like subscribe hit the bell you learn from seeing .left handed .but I'm right handed.i use both.it on a 14' table I built my self.
@@HawaiiCrapsShooters thanks I study my long roll I did a 27 yesterday with the same grip and set it seems to be a part off axis throw left die rolls to the side or both to avoid the seven.and the dice roll off the bottom bumper it's a drop shot right at the back wall the dice aren't parallel with each other slightly off set with each other five finger grip.the table is hard surface.im right handed but it's thrown lefty as I use both.
Dice setting gets a lot ink but there is no- I repeat NO- evidence that suggests throwing or setting dice produces a statistical advantage for the shooter. Up to you how you throw it but you cannot tell me in advance what number will come up. It’s all chance.
Infomercial? Sorry to say but, you can watch the video from Golden touch and learn MORE than what he showed here, which was basically nothing. You guys might have gotten something out of it but, as a viewer, I didn't see or learn anything I already know from watching Dominator and Frank Scobletti. ONLY thing I learned...practice makes "perfect". Since I left Arizona and got rid of my practice "table", my technique had suffered BADLY. No more 20+ rolls any more. Now when I go to Vegas, I'm lucky to go beyond 7-8 rolls before the dreaded 7 come to visit.
A good prayer: I'm a sinner JESUS please forgive me for all my sins I know you shed your Blood for me on the cross at Calvary. Thank you JESUS for my salvation and for shedding they Blood for me. I love you JESUS. Romans 10:5/10 ct...❤️k JESUSisLord!Amen... Amen.. If you'd like to call someone who cares 83.for.truth..... Ok
I enjoy craps more than anything but it’s really hard to take these kinds of people seriously. When an alleged dice “controller” starts doing multiple tosses, you know it’s a sham. If you could control the dice one way, it would never be more profitable to try others. All you have to do is increase your bets on the numbers on which your controlled toss is more likely to resolve. When people start talking about “kind of on axis” tosses or similar, it’s just pure snake oil. There’s a famous teacher near where I live and play. He teaches a class and the final part is a group field trip to a casino for everyone to play together. The teachers refuse to shoot the entire weekend. Ask yourself why that might be. 🙄
Thank you for sharing. Here’s my own honest take on Dice Control. I look at Dice Control just like a person who is just taking up the sport of Golfing. The person sees that controlling his swing can help with his golf game but knows that perfecting his swing can take days, months and years to perfect it but that person will continue to practice, go to the driving range and some even hire a coach to help them with their swing. Now will that new golfer ever get it down to a point where his handicap is low enough to get into the pros? The truth is not many do, however, that golfer loves the game of golf and loves the challenge so much that he continues to practice and perfect his swing and some even take lessons from professional golfers to speed up the learning curve. Having said that, would you now say that the golf instructor is a sham because he is teaching the golfer the fundamentals on his swing and gives advice on how to improve? Probably not if you look at it in this perspective which is how I look at it. I feel that the more practice and advice I get in my own toss, the better shooter I become which does not guarantee me of being a professional in craps but helps me become a better shooter and increases my chances of hitting that “Monster Roll” when ever it’s my turn at bat on the craps table. What it all comes down to is having the love of the game. When you are trying your best to be good at something you continue to practice and practice because you have a strong passion of the game. We all may not become professionals but the fun is all in the challenge of getting there wether we make it or not.
@@HawaiiCrapsShooters I mostly agree with you here. I think it’s perfectly harmless and fun to try and practice or improve but my biggest issue (not with you) is that these dice “schools” really prey on the ignorance of people and they sell them on things that are unrealistic at best and physically/mathematically impossible at worst. And many people don’t know better. I can’t count how many people I’ve seen lose their last dollars at a craps table chasing something that isn’t really possible. I know most people will just yell at me to shut up or “people can make their own decisions” or whatever, but I want to protect the people who are trying to use gambling as a way out of their current situation. I think of it this way….if i could truly beat the casino I have two choices: play the game and win with my edge or sell you on the idea instead. Nobody in their right mind would pick the latter unless they knew they could make more money selling classes or systems than they could make on their own. Where I play in Louisiana they have $5 tables with 100x odds. If someone had even a tiny advantage from dice control, they could make a mint here. And yet every “professional” I’ve ever seen plays for amounts so small they can’t make any real money. And all of them will tell you stories about “casino heat” or not exposing themselves, but it’s nonsense. So again I have nothing against you (really like the videos and channel!) I just hate seeing people at craps tables being taken advantage of by these snake oil salesmen.
@@MyopiaMovie I agree with you. It’s a shame when some dice control instructors start exploiting their customers and it’s hard for a newbie to distinguish if he is getting good instructions or just getting taken advantage of. Howard’s class is genuine. He tells you the truth of it and gives you the fundamentals of how to improve your toss. His years and years of experience is what he shares which I appreciated in his class. For me as an experienced Craps player I can see where his class was more beneficial rather than being exploitive but you gotta be careful as you say. There are many “instructors” who do not have the experience but rather are doing these classes while not being qualified enough to do so. It’s gonna be like Everything else, “Buyer beware”. Thank you so much for watching my channel and thank you for your your comment and reply. I’m sure many people feel the same way you do and if we can help some new players not get exploited then that is always a good thing. 👍
@PJ Strong Hey PJ. You’re right. There will be obstacles like anything else. A MLB batter can be an excellent home run hitter but the diamond back in baseball is the pitcher. The pitcher is the randomizer in your example but sometimes we can still hit that home run. Howard is just the batting coach in this example.
@PJ Strong I have a standing wager with anyone who claims to be a craps advantage player, including many prominent teachers. I’ve offered to put them up in a hotel at my favorite place (100x odds, 24 hour tables) and let them shoot and we simply track their distribution. If their actual distribution is statistically significantly different than random they win. Zero will take me up on it. It’s all a scam. As for not betting on random rollers, the reason some people believe these types of delays work is because they feel like they win more. But when every bet is negative expectation, of course you’re better off not betting. The best craps player in the world would require a 200 roll before betting. They’d never bet and never lose, unlike 100% of craps players who are down lifetime if they’ve played any volume :)
@@AccountabilityFit It was purposely edited out. At that time he was giving lessons and did not want to reveal his entire class. This video is an intro to what you could learn when taking his class
I just hope all of the non believers keep telling everyone that there is no such thing as dice influence then hopefully the casinos won’t ever ban dice setting.
