Probably the same as everyone else. It's fine for a general play session but 100% is the worst thing known to man.

I don't think younger people realize how much everything has changed. Language wasn't censored, there wasn't really clickbait or ads on normal sites, google results were not biased, social media was pretty much just IM, your activity wasn't heavily tracked, etc.

Tracking data to sell it, or to know what advertisements you're more likely to spend money on, or to take advantage of your lack of self-control when it comes to buying useless shit you don't need. Censoring language so advertisers know the audience includes kids and people who don't like swearing, a bigger audience to advertise to, and because kids are will buy anything. Clickbait because you want a bigger audience, because a bigger audience means gets you more pennies in ad revenue. Ads on normal sites, once again, because money. Google results being biased, I've never heard of, but doesn't surprise me. They gotta point you towards people who pay for advertisements, as well as partner companies. Everything shit about this site points back to money. Fuckloads of ads, because YT/Google wants more money. Censorship because advertisers don't want to be associated with no-no people, and advertisers pulling out leads to less profits. Tracking because they want to know what to show you, what you're more likely to buy, because they want ads to be effective. No point showing a kid's toy to a recovering alcoholic, no point showing premium cigars to children, no point showing your grandmother an ad for a heavy metal band who talk about raping and gaping apes. Google is owned by Mr. Krabs.

@@germpot absolutely spot on. I remember when i was young, the only time i would see any form of advertisement at home would be during a televised ad break on tv. If i didn’t watch tv, i’d never see an ad. How times change.

I remember when free apps on your phone weren't riddled with ads and microtransactions, when RU-vid didn't try to shove ads down your throat if you didn't have a subscription to YT Red, when most things weren't like that. Ads, subscriptions, microtransactions, revenue. The ASMR of the business world.

I dunno, as someone who came late to the party I think they're on equal grounds in my book. The only reason I bring this up is because I've no particular attachment to either grouping, since I started my Oneyplays 'tenure' with both groups. I always figured he meant that there wasn't enough exploration of what exactly Cortex and the other villains were actually doing with the time travel. You go to all those locations and see the implied results, but never really have an overarching sense of what's going on. The implication seems to be that Cortex has already won, but you just sorta breeze through things without touching on it. Though that is somewhat in character for Crash.
