Some of the models here are great, they clearly put some effort in that area, unlike WOC's awful models. Sucks that this game will never be completed.

They had three years, and the game is littered with basic design flaws.

I always thought maybe it's because Nitro blasts deal more damage than Aku's health value can take, like in some games when a shield takes more damage than it can handle, the rest of the damage gets taken off your character's health bar instead. ..I'm not even sure if that's how that works in this game, but I thought they might have cranked up the Nitro damage value by accident. Game is janky enough for it to be a possibility, I just find it funny that everyone has their own theories on this because it's such nonsense

There are really basic things they didn't really bother with that just shows their incompetence: dead boss hitbox, not mapping audio to sound channel, forgetting they left the RGB on the ball, widely varied checkpoint distances, royalty free music, unskippable cutscenes, extremely lazy character design and plot, very slow jump animations, ugly character models, slow camera rotation, long death animations, weird diversions to traditional gameplay.. They thought they could get away with laziness because it had Crash on the cover

Tbh this game deserved a remake way more than CTR, it's a shame that the fans don't want anymore remakes since Twinsanity would be fucking stellar if it got a remake with all the cut content, Hell it'd probably be a new game at that point.

If they remade the game with all the cut content I don’t think people would be too upset as there would be enough differences to consider it its own game.

They'll probably have to remake the music though, which sucks because the a capella adds to the charm and weirdness

That's not a good solution.

If that's true then it's not a very good reason, Aku could've maybe warned the player about them when you first got near them or have nothing said and just let you take the hit so it teaches you how volatile Nitro is without instantly dying. You already start with Aku and get another Aku crate right when you spawn so why not have it that way. I feel like that's how it was supposed to be but they might've coded it wrong or something, it almost looks as though Aku has a health meter and explosions do more damage than he can take so Crash takes the remainder of damage and dies. I highly doubt it's like that but they seemed to experiment alot with this game you never know what's going on behind the scene.

I had the same situation but opposite. Once I stood up the the huge bully we ended up becoming good friends. In fact people started to be afraid of me because he had my back. I’ll never forget when someone was messing with me and his towering form walked up behind me and said “you know if you fight him, you’re fighting ME too.” The other guy backed off.

@@redhotheadvt I agree, but despite the flaws, I LOVED this game. It was challenging, had clever obstacles and boss fights. The music was almost always good, and it had a really dark scene. So, when you beat the bird twins there's a cutscene of evil crash literally RIPPING THEM APART AS HE EATS THEM ALIVE! You could even hear their screams and their flesh being torn. That didn't necessarily make the game any better, but it made evil Crash memorable and terrifying while presenting a very dark and unexpected surprise. When we first see him, he kinda comes out of nowhere and doesn't seem to have a purpose in the plot. Meanwhile this scene comes along and scares the @#&^ out of us when we least expect it. I was so traumatized when I saw that scene! But yeah, I don't think this game was that bad. It has a lot of problems yes, but the game has so much good things going for it that I was almost blind to the issues.
